@imawesomekid95 While riding a Van Hool touring/intercity coach I noticed that the center rear seat had a seat belt (buried under the cushion until I dug it out). In the other seating positions, the design of the coach is supposed to just make passengers slam into the seat in front of them.

I still feel the "compartmentalization" model of impact absorption is utter bull, personally . Take it from an engineer... buckle up :D
