  • But one thing I wanna talk about is Tyson the man....I think a lot of the negativity you see Tyson in is the result of his up-bringing. When he finally made a real friend, father-figure, he died on him right away. I always viewed Mike as someone with despite his talent, someone with truly low self-esteem and manic depression. It was pretty sad to see the documentary. He seems to be more at peace these days. RIP Exodus Tyson. Mike always kept it real and even tho he aint an ATG hes a legend.peace

  • Tyson's my favorite HW. Mike had potential to be greater than he was but he was a headcase. He wasted a lot of his his best years in Prison too and I believe after he left Rooney he never really had people that TRULY were good trainers and had his best interest. When he fought Lewis the man was just a shell of his former self. In his prime from the time he KO'd Berbick up until the Spinks fight he was magic. I'd probably rate him around 10-15 in an all time Heavyweight list. Just my opinion.

  • oh my bad i forgot to mention, nice vid mayne

  • Im 25 and Tyson was my first intro to boxing. Looking back, I think what alot of people are missing is that his skill-set topped off when he switched training camps. (meaning he never acquired any new skills or expanded on his existing ones) Yea he had the bobbin n weavin and footwork, but it just seems that his training never pushed him past those basic elements.

  • i meant (i DONT TAKE INTO ACCOUNT THE LATTER PART OF HIS CAREER)

  • tyson never fought a great fighter in their prime and spinks was not a true heavyweight i dont want to sit here and just hate cause i like him as a boxer. i was born and raised in bed-stuy brooklyn and i met tyson a few times and i can say i like him as a person and anyone who wasnt afraid to fight back had a good chance ala douglas but great p4p no top ten heavyweight yes and i take into acount his latter career

  • man fighting was fun then i mean he didn't keep them in the ring for long but that nigga was the shit I don't care what nobody say bout that nigga u said it right baby if only he kept his eye on the tiger he would have been further u right babes

  • You know what i love Tyson cause he fought anyone that came his way he was hungry much like Ali in his hay day I love Tyson cause unlike these punks today he don't just take easy fights like (cough...money may) and be super picky like(cough..manny pack ohh shit who won't fight black fighters) so i think fighting has changed since them days, man fighter today just about that bread and easy fights no real challenge to them unlike my main man Mike did point blank Mike was never scared

  • Damn you know your shit bro!!!

  • ..and Tyson never raped that bitch Desiree Washington. I hope shes strung out on dope whereever she is

  • hell yeah bro.....i agree that bitch going to hell for lying on Tyson

  • yep, Im glad you recognize real bloodbox.

  • desiree's a mother fuker

  • How do you know? The only people who really know is her and Tyson.

  • You must not know anything about life do u?

  • Yea I do. Im' just saying people are acting like they were there. I don't believe he did it, but I don't know for a fact.

  • After all these years? After admitting he had a problem with drugs and women and Tyson still denies the allegations of raping Washington? you don't have to be there to come to this simple conclusion. He did not rape the bitch. she was just your everyday average money hungry whore.

  • Lol, true story. However, maybe he hit it and thought she wanted it. Maybe she said no and didn't resist. How would he know? So yeah I guess I could see.

  • you are thinking like a woman. Think like a man! you know damn well she wanted a piece of the pie

  • Lol, yea I guess.

  • I agree. Tyson is definately in the top 10.

  • i'm sorry ,.. but i lost all respect for tyson after this mofo got married with some prostitute whore a week after his own daughter died.... he's a fkn animal .. fuck tyson !!

  • Ultimately were all responsible for our decisions. But if they would have spent 1/4 the time developing him as a person, as they did as a fighter .....who knows?

  • he was good for about 6 years

after the 1990 lose he became so violent

just wanted to hurt his opponent

  • i think mike tyson went off track when his first trainer died he was the never the same after that though he had his moments beating bruno the 2nd time but jail and lawsuits fuked the man up. no1 cud question the talent of mike tyson. tyson will always b remberd as the most ferocious and vicous heavyweight since the great george foreman in my opinion

  • Great vid man.

Tyson in his prime gives 'em all a hard fight.I think(hard to say)that he might have been the best ever in his prime but of course he did'nt accomplice what he should so he's around no 7 all-time.But prime v prime...

What's up with you?Problems with the vids?

  • greatest heavyweight of all time in my opinion everyone was scared of him in the 80s everyone tried to dodge him larry holmes admitted to being scared for the first time before a fight when he faced tyson LOL

  • Larry Holmes was past his prime and still fought a prime Tyson. Prime Holmes would pimp slap Tyson. As much as I love Tyson he hasn't got shit on Holmes.

  • your funny i laugh at your sarcasim

  • Lots of love for this video man I apperciate you for making this video and making people understand a little bit more about the legendary Mike but personally in my opinion i think Ali and Tyson are the greatest heavyweights of all time due respect to all the other great fighters but that is my personal opinion.

  • Great vid blood. Tyson is 1 of the most feared ever, i agree. He shud be 1 of the best ever also!! He had everythin to be in the top 3 of all time, but it wasnt meant to be i guess. He did beat holmes, but wud of been great for them both to of been in their prime. Holmes had a great jab, woulda been good to see tyson try n get past n round it. Would of loved that 'prime' fight.

Tyson was a great fighter, but could of been even better.

  • Holyfield had the best legacy, he weighed less than every one of his opponents, but he always looked bigger, the man had the most heart of the 90's era, if Mike didn't go to jail he "could of" been the greatest.

  • damn man i had just blocked you but this is a good comment ......now i gotta unblock you...lol

  • @BloodBoxing

No doubt Mike Tyson was the most feared heavyweight of all-time and is definitely in my top 10 heavyweights of all time... Other heavyweights i would put in front of Tyson would be Holyfield, Frazier and Foreman.....

  • yeah i wish mike wouldnt of went to jail and like u said his training he training went down hill. did u see the documentary called tyson its pretty good. good vid peace

  • as for ali had he not of went to prison hed of embarrassed frazier ken norton and foreman even past his prime ali threw 8 lead right hands on foreman cant imagine what prime ali woulda done to foreman that wouldnt be pretty lol

  • Nice video

    M.V.B Films

  • thank you

  • Sorry, 8 9 & 10 should be 8)V. Klitschko, 9)W. Klitschko 10)Liston

  • Tyson could have beaten most fighters in history, yeah Joe Louis achieved alot more than Tyson, but hypathetically if they could have ever fought Tyson would KO him in 1round. So when we talk about top 10, we need 2 be clear if we mean top ten in terms of achievement, or in terms of who couldve beaten who. In terms of who couldve beaten who at thier peak my top ten is this 1)Holmes, 2)Tyson, 3)Holyfield, 4)Ali, 5)Lewis, 6)Bowe, 7)Foreman, 8)V. Klitschko 8)W. Klitschko, 9)Liston, 10)Frazier

  • Tyson had great handspeed, power, footspeed, balance, combinations- technically he was an awsome heavyweight. But he ALWAYS struggled against the big heavyweights (Green, Smith, Tucker, Douglas, Ruddock) he never had an easy time with good quality big guys. And holyfield was too tough and technically sound for him. But Tyson was the most exiting heavyweight of all time, i think he takes that title hands down

  • hell ya. in his prime, definitely the most exciting fighter.

  • yeah...the big guys did better...but he usually found a way to beat them.....im still pissed at Smith for all that damn holding

  • Announcer at the end of the Tyrell Biggs fight: "It's all over, and it wasn't even close."

Great stuff. As you said, a lot of folks thought Biggs had the goods (movement, jab) to beat Tyson. Man, were they wrong.

  • yep...the olympic golden boy...lol

  • Mike Tyson was one of the most over rated fighters of all time. He only got the hype and credit due to how he beat lower ranked guys. His style made his legacy, not his record.

in the 90's to 2000, we were in the Lennox Lewis era.

  • well not in the first half.....the first half of the decade belonged to Bowe and Holyfield only because Lewis was still coming up...to bad bowe chose not to fight him

  • Bowe ducked Lewis so bad...Lewis would have murdered him anyway.

Holyfield was more dominant of the early 90's than Tyson.

  • anova great vid...i agree with you that tyson was the most feared HW of all time.

  • i think so also....with liston being a close second

  • @ 3:36 at the peak of their careers bloodboxing???

  • i meant many of the fighters tyson fought were stepping stones in the 1990s but tyson fought some of these guys when they were at their best....example tucker

  • IMHO the top ten are: 1)Ali 2)Joe Louis 3)Dempsey 4)Marciano 5)Foreman 6)Frazier 7)Holyfield 8)Lennox Lewis 9)Tyson 10)Jack Johnson--JJ would be higher but in his time heavyweights soemtime fought middleweights so that takes a little steam off his record but still a great fighter...As for Tyson he unquestionably fell apart in the end but when Berbick, Spinks, Holmes(the best of that time) couldn't even last more than a few minutes wit him you gotta give it up

  • Lennox Lewis over Tyson? Pffft, no way dude.

  • i would have my list much different but i really respect your list homie....hope to see more vids bro

  • They Fucked up Mike Tyson Stats on Fight Night Round 4...... I hope they give us the Option to Edit the Existing Boxer Attributes for Fight Night Round 4.

  • i heard they was going to vote on that

  • Mike tyson the most complete heavy weight to me hand speed, foot work, puching power, bobbin and weaving (trevor berbick fight ) . I believe he is the greatest heavyweight of my generation .

  • how old are you my brother???

  • Mike tyson..shoulda, coulda, woulda been the best heavyweight since Mike Tyson. I put him right behind Ali..no doubt..Its all about "If"..if this didnt happen to him, if that didnt happen to him..at the end of the day..anyone who knows boxing and boxing styles..knows..Greatest two..ali and Tyson..all others..no contest.

  • I think as far as getting in the ring with other fighters

I would rank him higher bro...I think Ali, Holmes, and Jack Johnson stood a chance....Johnson fought them long rounds with damn near no gloves....but Ali and Holmes had the style to do it.....it would have had to be a Holmes from the late 70s though.....i see your point though bro....and we still gotta play that fight night homie

  • Yeah..I feel you on those three. Especially Holmes witht that sick ass, quick, stiff , hard left Jab. One of the best Jabs Ive seen ever. Ali vs Tyson for sure is my biggest dream match. Johnson would have been tough but I think Tyson would have been to strong yet respected the hell outta Jack.

Frazier, orton and even Foreman though..I think ali Knocks out way before 15 rounds ( if tyson could even go 15)

Yea get at me on the Tyson game man. I'm gonna be giving everyone my user name soon.

  • w/o fighting in a highly competitive fight. He took the lewis fight basically 4 the paycheck i knew he wasn't ready 4 lennox and im sure he knew he wasn't ready but 30 mil is pretty hard 2 walk away from. His fight wit danny williams was a fight he was winning until he twisted he knee but people seem 2 4get that and i thought he was winnin the fight wit mcbride until he ran out of gas and didn't wanna fight anymore. Tyson stopped fightin 4 his legacy a LONG time ago. pretty much after buster

  • Dap....whassup bro......i still think he had some juice left in the 1990s...but you are right he never was as committed again

  • Blood!! wut up doe... Tyson after gettin released from prison was never the same figher that he was durin those late 80's.. Although he was motivated durin the fights he had wit holyfield he was clearly a different fighter.. We all know how dirty holyfield was durin those fights which was somethin that caught him completly off guard until he snapped. He did get on anotha lil streak in the late 90's wit the botha and saverese fights but got locked up again and after that went quite a few years

  • There is no doubt in my mind Tyson is a legend of the sport. You ask the younger generation of today or people who dont watch boxing to name a fighter and the two everyone knows are Ali and Tyson but he is more known for knocking people out than being a good boxer. Technically he wasnt the best as he hardly ever threw a jab but he probably had the best head movement the game has ever saw. If he hadnt fallen out of love with the game i think hed have become the greatest heavyweight ever.

  • thats why ea sports used them two to promote there game...its sad that people know them better than the current heavyweight champs

  • Lennox Lewis is ahead of him man surely.

    Sonny Liston too IMO.

    But not Jack Dempsey.

  • maybe not jack dempsey...i swear i thought of that after i said it

  • u got that right bro Liston fought some solid chinned hardhitting beasts floyd patterson said he seen liston get the daylights get knocked out of him by the heaviest of punchers and they didnt even faze liston not to mention liston continued beating up youngbucks in his 40s had liston not passed away i think hed of regained the title destroyed frazier but then we wouldnt of seen the great ali fight again as frazier was the one who really bailed ali out thank god he did

  • "Uncle Tom, ass-kissing, house negro" That cracked me up! Keep it up, Blood!

  • lol.....man its true....orange juice liked that milk bro......naw just kidding...but i think he got away with murder....i dont feel sorry for that guy man

  • Tyson is one of the greatest ever. That uppercut... man i loved that uppercut

  • sup my homie

  • dope vidz!

  • thanks bro

  • Michael dokes was a very inspirational story i think he was comin back to fight bowe in 1990 for the title bowe had just became the champ michael dokes was comin out of rehab coming back from his cocaine addiction i always thought that was a very good success story for ppl to look at guy comes out of drug addiction and fights for the title against bowe

  • damn bro...those are some true words on dokes...i wanna do a vid on him

  • my bad it was 93 dokes was 34 or 35 years old but yeah its pretty inspirational stuff

  • i felt bowe was robbed in holyfield bowe2 bowe easily won the first 4 rounds evander took the next too then riddick started to rally in 7th round than that joker with the parachute came in but riddick won that round i felt he won 7 rounds of the fight but it was a hell of a fight neway as for tyson id put him between 7-10 wherever u wanna put him i might of ranked him higher if he didnt shy away from fightin guys like bowe foreman and ofcourse greatest of the era Lewis

  • well we know he did fight lewis...he would have had a better chance in the early 1990s though....if he didnt go to prison

  • sorry botu the first comment didnt come threw right ill repost it

  • as for the element of fear nobody was scarier than sonny after ali fought sonny he said ill never be afraid of another man after fightin him lol not only was liston a beast he had a very good defence alot of ppl dont know that he was also a very technically sound boxer foreman said when he sparred with liston liston backed him up like a convertable movin in reverse tyson was intimidating but nobody was more intimidatin than sonny may he rest in peace

  • man i would like to know where i can find Liston and Foreman sparring sessions...i know there out there because i saw a clip one time

  • Yeah theyre in alot of sonny liston tributes the clip it really just shows him and foreman shadow boxin together though really cool clip nontheless id love to see the sparring as well.

  • i was a big tyson fan as a kid and he is definateley one of the most dangerous and feared men to ever lace them up. On tysons best day, he can be competitive and beat any heavyweight ever, thats his legacy. BUT, unfortunately if you look @ his career as a whole you can make an argument that he became a waste of talent and lost a spot in the top 10 all time. as a fan to this day i like to dwell on the first part and remember how great he was.

  • yeah man ...the 80s version was hell on earth for any fighter of any era.....i think that tyson would have beat holyfield

  • Nice one Blood thank you for the response, One Love

  • all good my brother

  • Hey Blood Cool Video I didn't know JACK about labour day! As I'm British but I've learn t something new! We spell labour with a u in as well. Tyson was a beast from what I remember when I was a kid!

  • lol...yeah there are a few things spelled different....we spell mum ...mom....and so fourth

  • You forgot to mention George Foreman who is definitely one of the top 5 heavyweights of all time and above Joe Frazier. I would have to rank Tyson somewhere between 7 - 10 within the top 10 heavyweights of all time.

  • Foreman is most def up there bro....there was two versions of Foreman and I like both

  • Good Vid. respect

  • Thank u homie

  • another good video... way to tell history like it went down

  • cant wait to see ya next one homie

  • the biggest advantage holyfield had over tyson was using that big ass head of his

  • the mma fighter is julius francis but its a good ranking for him just because he was a feared heavyweight he had potential to be the best heavyweight of all time if he stayed focused he seemed to be in for a long strong title reign but he lost that focus he established his legacy after he beat spinks so he lost that drive and unfortunately he didnt take buster douglas seriously and it was the hugest upset in boxing history great vid bro

  • i know man...imagine if he stayed focused and never lost all them years due to his behavior out the ring

  • tyson wao legend godly is it true since he lost his trainer i heard he died and mike was never the same your boy val from puerto rico

  • yeah...after cus died that killed part of Tyson....he looked at Cus as the guy that saved him

  • Mike Tyson has a very good record,of names.

With legitimacy,he is very highly stacked as well but some of those fights when it comes to importance because we are matching him next to top heavyweights,I feel it's not Tysons record that makes him a step below a few other heavyweights but more or less the other heavyweights having more important match ups for their respective times.

  • good points bro
