  • Mean Tiger Khan

  • Wasim was more talented than Imran , variety etc etc BUT I honestly think that Imran at his best was as good.....meaning effective...as Wasim ever was . Look at his record in his peak years his record was like 18 average with like zillion wickets between 1980-83 against the best of teams. Even Gavaskar said that "I don't think anyone could have beaten the Imran of 1982."

  • I think for most of my generation, who watched a lot of their cricket in the 1990s and 2000s, there was nobody to beat Wasim Akram as a bowler. But when you look at Imran, you know where Wasim got his basics from

  • Was this 1982 or '87 Eng tour?

  • @akhtrah 82 of course - that is when he could be consistently quicker than at anytime in his career.

  • thanxxxxxxxxx alot 4 uploading ... keep it up

  • we need a leader like imran khan

  • lol "very useful delivery: man i muiss this classs of commentry.

  • I agree too i actually grew up watching cricket in the 90s myself and some of the greats you mentioned were also playing interntaional cricket in the 80s!! But my personal fave moment has to be the 1992 world cup..where pak won :)

  • I must say the 1980's era of cricket was he greatest and the golden age of cricket, you had the awesome windies team led by the great Clive Lolyd..I an botham, Imran khan, Richard hadlee, kapil, Lille Thompson, Miandad, Gavaskar, Chappels, Viv Richard, just the toughest time to play cricket against great players, the teams we have today are nothing compared to those days?!

  • Well I might be biased but the 1990's era of cricket was very good. Not that I don't like the 80's era and all the cricketers you mentioned up there (in addition to Allan Border) but the 90's produced some gods. Wasim Akram, Waqar, Warne, Steve Waugh, Murali, Tendulkar, Walsh, Ambrose, McGrath among others were awesome. Each era has it's great players and I certainly loved the 80's too and in terms of toughness, I'd agree the 80's had the best.

  • and now there are dhoni, dale styne, zaheer, ishant, balaji, sreesanth, mendis, maccalum, kevin petersen, yuvraj, raina, de villiars e.t.c( I dont see any paki)....man, this players are kind of reminds me of 1980s cricket when there are players which rayhaan23 mentioned

  • wtf is wrong with you? balaji is awful, zaheer, sreesanth arent superstars

    very biased comment

  • what u mean biased comment and balaji is a awesome bowler...have u ever seen any bowler who can move cricket ball all around the stump like balaji does...and zaheer, sreesanth, dyle styne don't need to be superstars, only thing they need is to show their class and they did and thats why they are already great...hope u will understand me now..perhaps u r pakstani and since there is no paki cricketer now as great as the names I mentioned, u r a little jealous...aren't you? lol

  • inzamam ul haq, Mohd. yousuf, younis khan ,misbah ul haq,imran nazir,Mohd. asif,umar gul,shoaib akhter,saqlain mushtaq,saeed anwar,shabir ahmed

  • @imwazzz and pakistan team still do not have any standing in world cricket ...something is wrong. I am not trying to be racial here so please ......just my opinion

  • i respect west indies

  • i dont they havent shown me respect why should i give them.

  • Best captain and allrounder of all time. I am from the West Indies.

  • Glad you think so..But you guys had the best pace bowlers around. I don't think any team would come close to Lloyd's 4-pronged attack even in years to come.

  • O yea we had some the best PACE bowlers of all time. The West Indies was unstopable at one time. But I got into cricket in the late 80's and Pakistan was my team.

  • You mean you you used to play? At international level?

  • lol. now i mean follow it. I grew in Guyana and use to love watching and listening over the radio when Pakistan was playing. I guess its because i was born a muslim thats why i like the Pakistan team more. Plus at that time they had players like Imran Khan, Javid Miandad, Salem Yousuf, Abdul Qadir, Wasim Akram, Rameez Raja, Waqar etc.

  • Imagine if Allan Lamb was not wearing a helmet!!

I remember this test match (truely memorable), 1982 Lord's, Imran's first test series as captain. Pakistan, against all odds, beat England for the first time since 1955. Throughout this test match, both David Gower and Alan Lamb could not play him at all.

  • best allrounder they has ever been!

  • imran owned himm,

  • @generationnext9000 Imran Owned Botham

  • i'd love to see people bowl like that again. they're killing the art of bowling. you can't bowl bouncers, you can't bowl on the leg side.

  • now i know why he was after imran but sadly he lost both battles.

  • omg he nearly got seriously injured.

  • imran rocks

  • wow

  • Excellent. Do it again.

  • samething worked foe me while having sex

  • Who's the batsman - I think its Allan Lamb but not 4 sure

  • Allan Lamb it is !

  • WHo's the bastman - I dont know 4 sure, but luks bit like Allan Lamb

  • i wanna know how u make the ball bounce this high with a tennis ball.

  • WELL DONE.
