just bought my first harp set....all the major keys! I've played the blues on my guitar for several years now! but any advice for a first time harp player?

Focus on figuring out first single-note blowing and drawing, and then work on the bends. You should be able to use the same pentatonic scales and blue notes that you do on your axe. Techniques like the warble and wah-wah also help to embellish your playing and sound more bluesy. These techniques are fairly readily accessible even to a beginning blues harp player. Practice your guts out. Also, listen to other harp players as much as possible, and inspiration will come to you faster.
