These tests most probibly are more dangerous than the one's you meet on the road. You crash into summin on the road and chances are that'll crumple a bit aswell, hence slowing your stop. Even so, it's the closes thing you've got to ensuring safety. The better a car does in here means the stronger the car. Which will always be good for when you're on the road.

Actually if you know so much. Why not suggest a better method for testing crashes? And why on earth are you watching NCAP vids if you think they're a waste of time. Seems like you've got too much time to waste.
And FYI i'm in college and who cares if you have an e-class? People are just gonna think you're a retard for crashing it. Get yourself a brand new s-class and then i'll be impressed.
