I'm From Hull, I cant say i'm as upset as sheffield or rotherham people, but still, WHY??? you could of spiced them up, paint one of them in Sheffield United Colours & one in Sheffield Wednesday Colours!! I dont know, go crazy, sad to see them gone :(

Tinsley towers went down on my birthday i was 9 on the day but i was in florida at the time so i missed seeing them go down . i am 11 now and i on my birthday i always remember about them.

Drove past heading South on the Saturday, bye bye towers.... heard the BOOM >>>> BOOM on Sunday morning as I 'slept' in Chesterfield (abt 12 miles away!) then drove past again heading North on Bank Hol Monday, no towers!!! Really weird!!! Most of us are gunna miss those landmarks, what else do we have in Yorkshire that's so distinctive!!?? Sorry, HAVE??? I hope they DO erect something in their place...... I feel for the people who live near there and have a big part of their skyline GONE!

haha can you imagine the chaos on the viaduct now cos people used to use the towers as like signs to tell them which junction they need to get off at for meadowhall n other places, but im glad they gave up a fight, e-on said they wer unsafe my arse unsafe they used all them explosives n it still didnt want to come down, 1 MAN....2 TOWERS....THOUSANDS OF SHEFFIELDERS WANTIN TO KICK THE SHIT OUT OF HIM!!!
