I only watched this anime because this anime was the one that inspired the creator of Berserk - which is like one of the best managas in the world.

If you watch Guin Saga you will notice the protagonist is a BIG, STRONG, DOMINATING, WILD character, and the antagonist is beautiful, has white skin, silky hair, is always calm, strong, is excellent at planning, etc. In Berserk, Gats and Griffith are similar to Guin Saga's main protagonist and antagonist. I only watched half of Guin Saga though and then I just "fast-forwarded" the rest of the episodes to finish it. Berserk is indeed one of the best mangas EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

@norge29 You should check out Gantz too (amazing manga!) and also Air Gear. But if you want a shorter one check out Angel Densetsu (EXTREMELY fun and entertaining to read). Gantz and Air Gear are much longer but unbelievably enjoyable. Find me on MyAnimeList (my username is iETHAN).

@xBl00dBrothersX Gantz was a fair anime, and the manga was good in the start, but became really shitty longer in. From the pictures I've seen from air gear.. it looks kinda childish, Angel Densetsu, however, is suposed to be really good, yes? I'll check that one out, thanks.

@norge2 There are 15 volumes to Angel Densetsu (about 86 chapters). Volume 1 was adapted into two OVAS. Here I have the link for you to download it in HQ. I had a REALLY hard time finding a website that offered it in HQ. I guarantee you will love the OVA. I first watched the OVA, loved it, and then I continued to read the manga. I freaking love it lol. @norge29 I strongly believe you should re-consider and should give Air Gear and Gantz another chance. Air Gear gets really good because the protagonist gets the Air Regalia and then you see a lot of battles take place - very intense battles where people can actually die. Love it!! Gantz super love it! Seriously, I don't know how many other animes/mangas you're currently watching/reading but at least put these 2 or 3 in your on-hold list. I am currently watching 1 anime and reading Angel Densetsu

@norge29 Dude, I swear on my mother's name, on God, and on my pride as a five-year anime who's watched over 100 animes, I SWEAR to you that Gantz is an amazing manga you will LOVE. Overuse of tits n' gore. How far in the manga did you get? It is not overused. Vampires? C'mon dude, the vampires arc was short and c'mon it was cool. The main two vampires were good characters. I started loving Gantz ever since Reika showed up lol. Other HOT chicks show up later that play necessary roles for the cast

@norge29 I know right now none of it makes any sense, I mean Gantz members fight these "creatures" for no fking reason right? But wait 'till you get to chapter 300 you'll start to understand and then everything is explained in the later chapters. I told you to read a few chapters ahead but if you haven't then don't read them or you may get some information spoiled (there's nothing worst than spoilers). Again, I don't know how many other mangas you're reading but believe in m - Gantz is AWSOME.

Anyway, if you're a guy and you like action, sci-fi, hot chicks, awesomeness, mystery, and an epic twist in the story (I hope you didn't' read the chapters I told you to read hence spoilers). Gantz will NOT disappoint you!

@xBl00dBrothersX I disagree with you. Gantz the anime was "good" but Gantz the anime covers like 1/10 of the material in the manga. Gantz the manga is AMAZING. After chapter 300 the answers to everything is revealed. I don't want to spoil anything but I'll give you a sneak peak. Read chapter 319 and maybe read on a few more chapters so you see what you are missing. And Air Gear, the anime covered like 1/8 of the story, the manga is 10x better. Angel Densetsu (lol) that one is hilarious.

Also hope the producers of Guin Saga Anime creates at least one more season of this awesome anime. Episode 26 was a bit of a let-down. Ended so suddenly but the way it ended left me with a hope of a second season.

@LemonCorpse She died in from pancreatic cancer. She was working on the 130th chapter of Guin Saga 3 days before her death. Its sad to think Guin Saga is unfinished. >.<

When a friend told me Guin Saga I was happy to hear about another decent semi medieval fantasy anime. When he told me about the ending theme being so beautiful I figured he was exaggerating. After the first episode I was stunned, it was such a long time since I last heard something so amazing moving as this song.

Such an awe inspiring piece of art, I want to say it is to good for the anime even when I do love the series and hope for more of it.
