  • I think it's awesome that these lovely creatures can live there free. Great story! I hate to think of them in the winter though. Thanks Karen!!

  • @Ginnymo62 -Thanks a bunch Ginny, yeah I felt the same way about them in winter & always wondered why they never planted some tree's on the island that can withstand the sandy soil, just anything they can get shade from the sun. or shelter from the winds. Maybe that would be a bad idea, considering the island is not that big in the first place. But since the 1700's they have adapted to their life, and always survive despite the odds. Thanks for the kind comment. Take care ((Hugs)) Karen :o)

  • @LibraLovesFaVs The federal government planted 80,000 trees all died only a lone pine survives but it only grew a few feet in 50 years.

  • Beautiful story! Thank you, Karen for uploading this video. Have wonderful weekend.

  • An enjoyable and educational video. Sable Island is like a natural paradise for horses where they can run wild and free and be as nature intended them to be. Thanks for sharing the true story.

  • @shalimarsgirl -Thank you so much, glad you enjoyed it & yes, lets hope these horses stay Wild & Free forever. Have a great day! :o)
