ok this comment is for all of the white girls (like me) with curly hair this hair style is perfect i love i used it for my prom after seeing this vid but if you want really pretty hair so you can do that with it remember simpler is better if you wash you hair the night b4 thenyou hair spray it once you get out and just got to bed like that the next day your curls will do pretty much what ever you wan :) (when i said curl hair i mean curly hair not wavy but crazy spiral curs :D)

I find that my curls become more defined if i wash it in the mornings, so befroe you go out, once washed and conditioned .Use a hair serum designed for anti-frizz/curly hair, stopping frizzing making the hair more defined and shiny.

Do not use too many products as it can make the hair look lank and dull.Another way to help your hair become bigger and more volumous on the top is to use a diffuser on a hair dryer, this is designed to give volume to curly hair.

What also helps is to simply to simply not use much product close to your scalp. Rather concentrate on the lengths.

Sounds to me like you need a good hair cut first. If your hairstyler just cuts it straight, it will result in described tent like effect. The problem with curly hair is also moisture, so always use conditioner and if you can afford it some serum from time to time.

dont go to bed with wet hair - itll just frizz up. wash it in the morning and allow it to dry as much as possible before tying it up. try using smoothing serum just after youve towel dried it (lightly). dont use too much or your hair will appear greasy and lie flat. cut hair in layers, so that the top layers arent pulled down by the weight or their own length. and the golden rule, NEVER BRUSH. good luck (:

And when curly hair is out of its natural form it frizzes.. so you end up getting this horrible uncurly frizzy mess,, :/,, but tht dsnt mean you cant brush it to untangle it. just make sure your hair is still wet and you use a specific type of brush.

I use Tresemme (sp?) Curl Defining Gel. It works really well with curly hair. Apply it while your hair is wet with your head tipped upside down, work it in. Then put a little on the back when your head is upright. You can either leave it, or I use a defuser and blow dry it. You can get lots of volume doing that, plus its dry and not wet when you go out. :)

tip: for even the most curliest hair, like me... shampoo and condition the hair... when the conditioner is on let it sit on ur head for like 5 minutes and comb hair in the shower than when u rinse it out comb it while rinsing get out then do a turbie twist keep it on for like 10 minutes or so take it off let it air dry u will have silky shinier soft hair even if r hair is naturally dry.. DONT PUT ANYTHING IN UR HAIR!!!
