With the exception of the slow middle section, this is as good as i've heard this played. The middle passage to me sounds a little bit hectic, it isn't savoured enough.

Great!! Awesome!! But one question. Can someone tell me if he's playing it transcribed to another position? I'm no expert but this piece is one of my favorites, if not my favorite, but I hear it different and I know he's not out of tune, that's impossible for Segovia hehehe

If he wasn't "in tune" to standard 440 then perhaps that's what is buggin' your ears.

If this recording was ripped off of an old vinyl record, perhaps the speed of the turntable could have been off,

changing the pitch slightly.

Can you describe to me what you mean by " another position "? regardless of what position it's in, the notes remain the same on the paper as written. if you are referring to tone and timbre then we are in for speculation. and if it's any concern, segovia has played had played this piece since his childhood and i would consider him the authority of this piece on the guitar. perhaps it would be better to wonder what some other guy is playing this incorrectly for??? :))))
