And then batman gets ready to throw a baterang, but before he throws it, joker pules out a gun and shoots batman dead. And joker says, "Ya know, if theres one thing i apprectiated about my father...... is that he always said..... storys never have any happy endings." Then Joker throws batman over the the building and then the end credits come.

This is funny, lol. Well I agree with the way you want it done for 2 reasons: 1. If Heath had survived, I wouldve been first in line for Batman 3 but since he didnt, I dont want someone else replacing him because I thought he was the best (even better than Jack N.) so if hes not going to be back, then kill him off and 2. the ending was so long once the Batman/Joker face off was done. So this ending wouldve been great LOL. And they couldve made it open-ended: Heath died so Joker died, Heath

david goyer and other actors have even said that they were pretty sure Heath would've been in their minds for the next and final Batman. sadly enough that won't happen. but chris nolan is one of the smartest directors in hollywood and when chris 'n company are on our side they will not dissappoint as they made Dark Knight even better than the first. And I really have faith in Nolan that he will make it better than Dark Knight

I give a damn about Batman. While the Joker is the best villain in literature I think Batman is FAR more interesting and complex.
This is film is called The Dark Knight, it is a Batman film, so I think people should give a damn.
