  • i remember when my truck was that clean

  • I have seen people cable tie the tyres

  • What gears are you using?

  • WARNING!!!!! DON'T GET THE MAXAMPS 150C TRUE BATTERY GET A GENS ACE 40C RATING. if u want to no y look a jangs (ultimaterc) review of the maxamps 150c true battery.

  • @fattychan1234 what aboot promatch, gens ace on their first charge dont work at all?

  • @TheFriedncrispy what u mean don't work at all on their first charge? it will only do that if every cell is bad, and if that does happen i'm sure that gen ace will replace it.

  • As much c rating as you can get.

  • Wich C rating do you need when you want to bash with this system?

  • Ec5 connectors.... Good for 120A.

  • I love my proline shocks!

    Smooth.

I clipped a wall with my regular shocks and bent the front right side. And just bought the full set.best idea next to rpm arms front and rear.

  • what should i get big bores or powerstroke shocks

  • super glue will last like forever on that

  • with my mamba max with a 7 cell nimh it could do a wheele

  • mine was base model... now almost completely custom

  • Go to Lowes and get outside double-sided tape and don't use Super Glue.

  • @skalarRC when i used super glue one time my speed control ripped open when i tried to get it off but i does last long

  • Deans all the way. Nothing else 80 Amp loads. Traxxas will melt over 40 Amps!!!!

  • dam bro, i would get a zippy turnegy or flightmax lipo from hobby king, and custom make a hard case yourself, Maxamps has EXTREMLLY overpriced LiPos, your better off with hobby king.

  • This truck is a platinum edtion lol

  • Cool truck. Burned up my Velineon system with a 3s so now I need a new set. I would use the XT60 connections. Deans pop everytime you connect them. They can get hot with a high output battery. I would use the the Traxxas Big Bore shocks from the PE edition. They are better than the Prolines and don't blow out under big landings.

  • go for the deans. much easier to solder

  • The Esc Fits great but you will need to get, or make a mounting plate. But other then that their is more then enough room.

  • hey dude was the esc a direct fit for the slash 4x4 stock chassis

  • Doesnt matter with the motor and esc thats in the truck, its over powering

  • smaller tires r faster

  • What is the brand of battery im going to look into it

  • hobbypartz has a 3s 5500 40c hard case lipo for about $50

  • Deans

  • Yes, proline powerstrokes.. Unbelievable tough and easy to adjust without spacers

  • For a 2wd slash i think you would want to get a higher kv rating some where between 3500 to 9000kv for a 2wd

  • do think this system would be ok for a slash 2wd or would it be too much power?

  • Are they the power stroke's

  • I got proline shocks, they are great

  • Well see thats my problem, i was playing with the switch befor i put it on and i dont know what way is on and what way is off because i havnt soldered my tips yet for the battery so it might be correct or it might be wrong like your saying, not sure yet

  • U might wanna turn that on/off switch around. a big enough shock to the truck while its going forward, like landing nose first, can turn the truck off mid drive or mid race.

  • Im about sure all i have heard about integy is not good. Do you have a set and if you do how are they, and i already orded the pro line power stroke shocks.

  • get integy piggy back shocks

  • Also for got to let you know their a 14mm hex so your going to have to buy new 14mm hex hubs from traxxas then then your going to have to make the pin hole bigger and they will fit right on.

  • I bought them off ebay just type in the search box losi ten t wheels and you will find them pretty cheep

  • can you give me the link where you got the wheels and tyres from.

  • nice car and stay with deans there easier and more esc's/batteries use them
