Hrm. I don't live anywhere near California, but I'd say 70 is pretty cool indeed. 80 is mild and 100 is warm. 110 is getting rather hot. Though at night during the dead of winter it can get about 20 to 35. Note that this is all with a humidity of about 70% at least.
