hey did you experience the rising black levels ? like the black suddenly becomes grayer ? I was considering buying the new G20 but am split between that and a samsung.
@turgore I have. But it seems to come and go at the moment. When i turn the tv on first thing, it is very noticeably lighter, but after a while it seems to settle again. I have had to turn the brightness down a little to get the blacks back to what they were, but obviously I lose some detail in the darker scenes in movies. I won't be recommending panasonic tv's to anyone anymore....
I think so, the contrast is great and the image is very sharp. Some of the freesat channels look a little poor, but I think that is down to the transmission rather than the TV.
sadly i did not... i got the 54 inch G10 and they did not have it in stock... said it would be 1-2 months and i couldnt wait... i just receieved my tv yesterday im in heaven.
It isn't noticable at all when playing the game. I have had the TV for a while now and have played several different games on it without any issues. It is a fantastic TV. :-)
This is more normal with Plasma. Because Plasma can refresh quicker then LCD, the problem is getting the color to keep up. The only time you notice this is if you are spinning back and forth as show in this video. What he didn't show. is if you spin, then wait half a second you don't see the problem any more. Its worst when you go back and forth.
I only noticed it in Call of Duty 5 in a couple of places. Couldn't find it in any of the other xbox 360 games I won.

Are you saying it has improved - almost to the point of it being no problem anymore since you bought it?

No, If you read my other comments, it was never noticeable anyway. It is most likely down to the digicam that I used.

What is the yellow trail? is the phosfuros blur?
patrickkelliott 2 years ago
yes, but when I was playing the game, I really didn't notice the issue. I think it is more to do with the digicam i used.
