  • I missed Final Fantasy :'( What is Final Fantasy today???

  • DEAD....

  • I think this is the good ending in actuality, for destruction of the garden will great alter events in the world and could prevent Ultimecia from ever rising in the future by sheer butterfly effect. Thats if the Ulti-possessed Edea doesn't manage to capture Ellone and cause Time Compression.

  • @Standuble true but she wouldnt be able to capture ellone cause ellone would of been killed in the explosion, actually looking at this cutscene the explosion looks so powerful its amazing there's survivors of trabia garden

  • @tosspot86 Oh yeah, good point. I forgot Ellone was in the Garden during the missile attack.

  • That's a hell of a way to beat NORG.

  • I love this ending.

  • LMAO I never knew *this* could happen xD

  • KAH-PEEEM!

  • DAMN!

  • lol what the fuck was that. the garden leaves before the missles arrive???

  • This happens if you DON'T adjust the error ratio for the missiles at the missile base.

  • At what point do you get the scene though?

Right after the missile base, after Squall arrives at garden, or what?

  • @kblargh basically you just need to actually fail at the missle base and you get a game over

  • Noooo, lol XD

  • lol, Garden go boom

  • I had not known this scene existed until 20 or so minutes ago when I decided to see what happens if i don't bother with the control panel for the error ratio. I am now viewing this over and over again because it's much better then what is supposed to happen.

  • Never knew this scene existed, cool =P

  • heh... 2 words come to mind...

    GAME OVER

    XD man that was somethin'

  • HAHAHA.

I set the error ratio to high so this didn't happen. This is terribly tragic, but somehow this makes me laugh. The garden just got completely owned!

  • I've never seen this version before, but it's pretty cool. I've just watched it seven times in a row already, trying to take in everything that happens.

  • Wow, I've never seen that before! o_o All the hopes and dreams of so many people, all gone to waste. *tear*

  • so what happens when balamb garden is destroyed? do u have start a new game or something? i never failed

  • No, its just game over, and you start from last save.

  • wait I don't get it, so say if I save on the part before the party fights those two oil monster bosses in the MD level, and I get this scene, does that mean I start all over again on the MD basement or at the Galbadian missle base?

  • You don't get the scene in Balamb Garden. You only get the scene if you fail to tamper with the missiles in the Missile Base. That is it.

  • It would've been cooler if the Missiles blow up on contact.

  • I wonder what music playus when it happens in game?

  • There is none.

  • That was spiffy I didn't know that could happen either.

  • Don't you mean "hit the spot"? Anyways, I like it, I never saw this part in FF VIII because I didn't let Balamb Garden get destroyed. :) heh heh heh heh

  • Now that hitted the spot...literally

  • ... when did THAT happen???

  • If you fail the Missile Base mission by failing to properly set the Error Ratio.

  • @GoingCrazy201

.............and how does the game proceed w/ Garden destroyed O.o

  • @Ghostgirl777 Doesn't, it's a game over

  • @GoingCrazy201

    Oh XD Makes sense.

  • @GoingCrazy201 it turned into the apocalypse for balamb garden and the town of balamb
