  • How come you don't have one video (that i can find) that has the go kart actually being driven??? If you do, I apologize ahead of time..

  • What model engine does this Kart have? How much horsepower and torque does it generate? Is it street legal?

  • hi, im planning on building a jet kart like this, where abouts did you get the shaft drive unit?

  • how much?

  • $1500.00 for the turbine engine and the gokart is free .

  • how much

  • Need video of you riding, then maybe ill buy it....

  • how can you stop wheels to spin when engine is running, maybe some clutch?

  • Just push the brake pedal the wheels stop spinning and engine keeps running, There's no direct link from the gas producing turbine(Jet engine) and the power turbine just very hot gas. It kind of works like a torque converter in a automotive automatic transmission. I will make one more video showing how it works. Thanks for the input.

  • Where's the flux capacitor?

  • These silly turbo gas wasters are nothing without the free turbine. Cool kart man.

  • u should hav planned to move the gokart by the THRUST of the engine cos im building the same engine 10 times bigger than yours and it will PROPELL forward

  • Please explain how thrust engine is better than a free power turbine engine? You have obviously NEVER built or driven a thrust powered kart. If you will notice in the video the wheels are turning, spinning a wheel 100 MPH on the ground WILL PROPEL IT FORWARD VERY FAST.There is know comparison,I have built both and shaft power is the only way to go unless it,s in an aircraft. But your the expert.

  • Don't worry about him, your engine is a treat to watch. Thanks for posting!

How much torque do you estimate is available at the wheels?

  • @scuferrari no kidding man thrust is so sluggish you never go fast beacuse it takes ten miles to accelerate past 30 mph

  • @scuferrari Hi there iv built a thrust powered one and it worked rather well.... I do have one thing to say however and this is just a statement not ment to be an attack yes it will spin your wheel at 100 mph but that dosnt necasaly mean that it makes enough torque to move a person and the kart once it is set on the ground. I do agree though that a well designed power turbine to a gear box ( to convert speed to torque ) is better then just thrust alone.
