  • Wonderful!

I've added this beautiful Nightingale song to the text below my video "Nachtigallenwäldchen" as a wonderful example.

  • Fascinating and adorable at the same time, how this little fellow is conveying his message in a song. Thank you for this excellent, high quality footage!

  • Excellent shot. I was wondering what those plastic rings are on the feet of the nightingale.

  • @wildaboutimages Thanks.

  • @wildaboutimages Thanks for the information. I was showing it to my dad and he loved the video, especially the song of the bird. He even asked me to record the audio just for his listening pleasure :). Can I download your videos/audios from somewhere? If not, is it okay with you if I download it with third-party software and save it in my phone or similar devices for enjoyment, strictly non-commercial? I ask your because I respect your skills and your passion. :)

  • raised in captivity...

  • @mellidiss This is a wild bird not raised in captivity

  • Everyday I'm Nightinglin'

  • Sean, this nightingale sound is one of the most endearing and beautiful sounds I have ever heard. What a great job capturing this wonderful moment!!

I step into your channel everyday now just to hear this sound.

My friend Gabor (robag71, below) told me the other day to listen to Chopin's music I was featuring with this sound. That was absolutely wonderful!! The piano and this sound go perfect together. ~~Kumhui

  • Wow! That's beautiful. :-))

  • So crisp and clear, makes the bird look even more beautiful:)

  • The Nightingales song is absolutely beautiful! Your film is beautiful also! I must be more patient, in the summer, when lots of birds come to our garden and near by areas! Thanks for sharing!

  • Other very good places in which to hear the nightingales singing are the woodlands of the Surrey Hills, and on and around the Weald of Kent. One morning commuters waiting for their early morning train on a small rural train station in Essex had the great pleasure of hearing a nightingale in full flow from his hidden perch in nearby bramble bushes. Can you imagine a better start to the working day in London than being serenaded by a male nightingale while waiting for your commuter train!

  • I am spellbound by this video as I am with your similar one featuring this remarkable little bird, the nightingale. I live just inside the normal range of distribution of the nightingale in England and have heard them singing in woods close to Gloucester and in a woodland close to the Three Counties Showground at Malvern, Worcestershire...on one occasion around two o'clock in the morning of a bright, moonlit night in mid May. It was pure magical! Thank you so much for this video, WAI.

  • a delight to watch, this is amazing footage thanks for sharing.

  • I can only say 1 thing after watching that..........brilliant :-))

  • Thank you so much for offering up such an amazin gvideo experience. Seeing a bird so close and in HD made my day. I am surprised at how renewing it is to see and hear! Do you know what all those bands on his feet mean?

  • @TheCarseys Thanks for the comment, the bands around the birds legs are rings .bto.org/volunteer-surveys/ringing/ringing-scheme

    hope this helps.

  • These are excellent shots!

I have also gone through your website. The way you depict wildlife is very accurate and you have a personal style.

I would also like to ask what kind of camcorder you are using.

    Thanks in advance,
