My uncle Jimmy Camper was a fish biologist , served Erwin TN , Pisgah
Forest NC, and wound up his life at Heber Springs Arkansas...he was inducted into the Fish Culturist Hall of Fame in Spearfish SD. ...and much of the expansion and preservation of trout fishing and hatchery stocking can be credited to men like him.
By the way, our NY State Brook Trout record is 5.75 lbs. certified by NYS Dept of Environmental Conserv.

looks good man. come up here to alaska if you ever get the chance, 20 inch bows are considered average(i grew up fly fishing down south so it still blows my mind). cant say i agree with the nets tho. or at least that wouldnt fly up here....
my great grandfathers family grew up there. been fishing there several times since I started fly fishing caught a 10 inch speck out of the very head =]
I live and guide out of Knoxville, but Cataloochee is my favorite stream in the Park. I caught a 15" Brownie there a couple of weeks ago. Congrats on the speck though...there are probably many more 14-15" brown trout than 10" brookies.
my grandmother grew up there and we fish there from time to time its a great place to go

I've never been to the river, but I know the guide very well. Anyone considering a trip with Smokey Mountain Gillie would be foolish not to go.
