It'd have been easier for Kurt Angle to use his forearm to pin the fox new guy rather than using a hold like that. If the proper position after the take down, you can completely pin someone down and they're not getting up. That way the fox news guy won't be able to move at all, and you apply as much or as little pressure you need too. Using the knee instead of the forearm is even easier, but would have been too much for that fox new guy.
