Buster, the Skatalites, My Conversation (Ludi by the Dream Warriors), Jackie Mittoo (Lily Allen with Smile) and so on. But never mentioned in interviews and so. On the other hand, reggae itself also used tons of other tunes - so why worry..? ;-) None the less, big up to all artist! Thanks again, Jah bless
@TxTFamGuy1, thanks for reaction..! All true and right, but the credits to the original artists are often a bit minor when reggae is involved... I mean, so many tunes taken from JA, while the originals hardly got any radio play here in Holland... I hear covers from Andy&Joey (Amy Winehouse),
The only minor thing about the otherwise great singer Terry Hall is that he never thanked artists like the Skatalites or Prince Buster for the use of their original songs (or did he...? And if so, is there any footagen..?).
@SuperCoxsone He used Rico Rodriguez for all the horns, and as you know Rico had played with Clue J and His Blues Blasters (who's members would form The Skatalites), Derrick Morgan, Laurel Aitken, He was on "Judge Dread" with Prince Buster and Lee Perry, Max Romeo's "Wet Dream Extended" and he was on the original "Message To You" by Dandy Livingstone. Plus the original artist got credit on the linear notes that accompany the LP. And The Specials did an album with Desmond Dekker

The song that inspired the Specials "Ghost Town". This is a wicked track.

Cool.
I heard this on digital radio a couple of weeks ago. But I forgot all about it.
Luckily I heard it again today. Now I'll never forget it.
Keep up the good work.
