@Stunr99 Fuck you and Fuck LSU. Yall wanna be Auburn Fags, we own yall in overall record. We are gonna come to Baton Rouge and kick yalls purple and yellow ass again next year. Yall ant shit but lucky!!!!
Please, the notion that Jones touched the ball is nonsense. It has taken the alabama fans two years to come up with that rationalization. Good for them they have the Ritter crew back in 2011.
this is the kind of crap that makes me hate the sec as much as i love it. too much home cooking calls made with no hesitation or remorse. and its always in favor of bama and auburn over the years. and we all remember that fla/ arky game in 08. im sure these athletes appreciate all the hard work and prep put in to travel to an opponents stadium, play their hearts out, and get screwed. i mean really, whats the fricking point? mike slime... slive can suck my white ass balls. fucking bama homer.
@whityfrd Re-watch 0:48-0:52. Julio had his fingers on the ball while his foot was out. Therefore dead ball. Peterson did have possesion of the ball and he was in, but it was a deadball because Julio was out and he touched it as Peterson was getting possesion of the ball. Another great view is 1:05-1:10. Julio touches the ball with his fingers and his foot is at angle while barely touching out of bounds.
@22dab95 sorry buddy, but that argument doesn't fly. WR only gets the nod if they BOTH HAVE POSSESSION.......not a fingertip. PP7 had the interception and the refs gave the game to the gumps.
@Jestersinthemoon If you touch the ball while you are out of bounds, dead ball. Possesion or not. It's not that hard to understand The only people that say the call was bad are the people that do not know that rule. Julio was out and he was touching the ball as Peterson was getting possesion. Just stop arguing. This was years ago and both plaeyrs are not even in college anymore.
At 1:08 Julio Jones has a foot out of bounds and he is touching the ball. Whether Peterson had control of the ball with a foot inbounds is irrelevant. The ball was dead as soon as it made contact with Julio's hand. The correct ruling= incomplete pass.
@BrandonFreshPrince1 Are your freaking retarded? Do you have no sense at all? Once the ball is dead, the play is over. Peterson was all over catching the ball with his feet in bounds. He was totally controlling the ball, and his foot was in, but you know what? That doesn't matter. Before he caught the football, a player out of bounds (Julio Jones) made contact with the football. The play is over, dead at that point. INCOMPLETE. That is a FACT, not an opinion, FACT.
@BrandonFreshPrince1 What if Julio runs 5 yrds out of bounds, McElroy tricks the defense by "throwing the ball away," but Julio volleyballs the football 20 yrds down the field to Maze who catches and runs for a TD. If Peterson's catch was an interception, then the play I just described would also be legal. Because in both instances a player out of bounds touches the ball before an in-bounds player gains control of the football. The most obnoxious biased LSU fan can't reasonably deny this point.
@soup1322 Lame ass argument Soup. The replay is much more conclusive regarding PP7 intercepting the ball rather than JJ "touching it" while out of bounds thus a dead ball. Sorry, the video is not in your favor. Nice try though. The Tigers will square the deal this November, in Bryant-Denny Stadium no less.
@McAwesome17 Why? because the correct ruling hurt your feelings? Feel free to read my explaination of the rules of the game of American football (which you probably don't know) in the comment section. Maybe it will fill your heart with sunshine and rainbows to finally realize that the call was correct.
Patrick Peterson didnt punk julio jones... greg mcelroy just sucks... now julio got a real quarterback in matt ryan. haha falcons superbowl next year yall just watch
Yeah him and Rodgers-Cromartie are going to make a great pair of corners. And with Kerry Rhodes and Andre Wilson in the back field were pretty solid now.
I hope the cardinals get this guy.. hate seeing the cardinals get blown out each game last year.. not a huge fan of them but i live in arizona now so i gotta show them love.
@johnex3303 Yeah man! So happy to see that omg cant wait to get a jersey too! so surprised Denver didnt take him. But they got a Linebacker to help Elvis Dumberville
@whyukea i just read an article that unfortunately destroyed that chance i think. I was hoping maybe trade 9th and newmn (maybe a 3rd rnder because of the CBA no player trading) to jump to 6th or 7th if he fell that far. But prince is close enough to peterson in talent that its not worth giving up two picks for one player considering dallas needs youth upgrades at several positions.
@whyukea fuck the cowboys....unless your from Dallas, then its kool you like the cowboys....but there mad cowboys fans that have never even been to Dallas.....One kid i knew, didint even know Dallas was in Texas, Cuz here in NY, if your a cowboys fan, Your prob a fucking retard! GO FOOTBALL NO LOCKOUT! ITS A INSULT TO THE EVERYDAY MAN
@numbas3000 (dumbass3000) comment I dont give a fuck what team you like so why should you care what team I like... and your an insult to all NFL fans, so go suck your moms dick hillbilly!!!
I also remember seeing Peterson lying on the ground 6-7 times during this game. Peterson is good, but Julio had the biggest punk of all in 2008 down in Death Valley in OT
That play pissed me off more than any other stupid call ive ever seen in football. Not even an alabama fan could deny that was an int, LSU never gets good calls anymore. If the refs made the right call, that game most likely would have had a different outcome.
@ShodowBlazer fact of the matter is LSU still had their opportunties before and after that call... besides if you watch what the refs were looking at julio had his hands on the ball while julio's foot was out of bounds which therefore makes it a dead ball and thats what the refs were looking at.
@bamaisnumberone Whats dumb is they only had two angles to look at, making in impossible to see exactly where Julios hand was. The best view you can get is from the back and from there it looks like Peterson was able to shield the ball from Jones, at least thats what i see. Im just glad he was able to beat bama the season before he left. Cause its a good accomplishment.
@Dez88Bryant They hardly ever trade up so worst case scenario is that they trade down which I hope they don't do cause we can sure use a lot of help with the 9th overall pick, maybe a cornerback or defensive end would be nice
@Dez88Bryant I like what we have at running back so I don't think we choose running back until next years draft. My gut feeling says we go with J.J. Watt and the Cowboys keep Newman but I think they should cut Newman cause he has to go sometime and go after Asomugha which would be pretty tight
@knink24, it might be a little hard for Denver to draft Fairley if Carolina has already drafted him. I wouldn't bet money on it, but I'll be shocked if they went with someone else. If I had to guess with Denver I'd say Bowers, but the Broncos are little too unpredictable.
this guy is a beast at CB. big, fast, smart and has good hands. if the panthers don't draft andrew luck or trade the top pick, i think they'll grab peterson or bowers.
@controldekinai , well, the lions removed themselves from the discussion by winning their last 3 games. The question is weather they can even get Prince Amukamara
@MrBlueCrimson Hmm, I don't think we are removed from the equation just yet... *PRAYS TO GOD* lol Go Lions! We HAVE to lose to the Vikings, though. God, I haven't been more upset about football in my life seeing the Lions win all these games when it doesn't even matter. How dumb, but I guess you can't lose on purpose. Especially since we really need a playmaker at the cornerback position.
@armanico04 Texans need him. They got the worst defense this year and they are the 4th worst pass defense in NFL history. But sadly Texans won't get the chance to get him.
@HoustonRockets034 he would help... they really need a pass rusher to complement mario willams and get a true nose tackle....then they'll be legit next year
@HoustonRockets034 thank u finally i found someone that agreed with me they needed him badly but it seems like they are trying to buff up the line to get more pressure on the qb so they won't have to worry as much on their secondary but i've been hearing a lot of sources that the texans acutely have a chance at nnamdi asomugha and if the texans got him their whole defense would be a whole different defense from last year
That was the worse call of the 2009 season. The toe came down inbounds and he had possession of the ball. Goes to show you that Bama pays off the refs.
@drumslanga352 Yea I think he will fall because Prince Amukamara is a Revis type ready to start all around better player then Peterson. I do think however that Peterson will have a better career then Prince because he is like a Deion Sanders type. I really dont see 2 CB's going in the top 10 so I think Peterson will fall to us, then the 2nd round we can get Rahim Moore or Deunta Williams at S and we just fixed our secondary for 8 years with Jenkins, Peterson, Williams/Moore, Akwasi, Scandrick
@ShodowBlazer just cause he gets the pick doesnt mean they go down and score.. they struggled most of the night... and had a backup qb and backup rb in so that shrinks their chances
a backup qb? sure, JJ is technically the starter, but in terms of skill, imho, Jarret Lee is LEAGUES ahead. not to mention the "backup rb" you spoke of happens to be the 5-star recruit Michael Ford, who is going to and probably would be if he got more playing time, a complete stud.
-so, no. if *anything*, our chances were actually going to be better.
@J0ECRAWF15H sure he was leauges ahead in knowlege but he was young still and obviously had skill but it showed that he didnt know how to use it just yet... its all about the playcalling too... which yall succeded in last saturday btw congrats lol
@J0ECRAWF15H it is an opinion of course... but ive talked to people outside of bama and they agree. im not bashing on the kid or disagrreing that he has come into his own and i agreed that he had talent and when he saw that busted coverage on that 3rd and 13 that sealed the game against alabama he took advantage of it... thats pretty good to me lol
Bama still would have won. LSU was losing with their second string QB and RB in.Plus they were going against what was the best defense in the country last year.
that was clearly a pick that call changed the whole game cause even thoy LSU was losing they had all the momentum going and the damn ref blew the game for LSU.
I cryed when this happened. LSU would have went to the SEC champ. if they got this call right and they would have beat Ole Miss. Patrick Peterson though is a f****** monster shut down corner.
Tatertots00: yeah considering you guys play in the WAC and had like two games against ranked teams and the rest were shitty teams. Hell we could throw Mississipi State in that conference and they'd go undefeated to
@bronization fo sho they can beat teams in the big east but they have to step it up to beat ole miss but they can do it ole miss is loosing alot of talent
this still pisses me offf..... Alabama swing the play... maybe bear bryants spirit from the grave (no disrespect to one of the greatest coaches ever) threatened the referee causing him to say incomplete when there was a big ass hole of grass missing where peterson got his foot in
stevie wonder ( once agai, no hate here) must have been the one in the replay booth
Patrick Peterson....... is one of the best on the LSU team........ He surely got that interception, got one the year before that against Albama, Returned A blocked field goal against Ole Miss, and returned a pick against Miss. State, and a whole bumch of other amazing crap. way to go Patrick.
@reile567 Hes too slow to be a high draft pick in the NFL. Think Donovan Warren, his 40 time destroyed his draft stock even though, skill wise, he was a very good corner. Peterson will be seen as a Malcom Jenkins type player.
@CDiddy51 he runs like a 4.46, i mean dang give him a break. he is rated # 7 on the big board and they are right....wht he lacks in speed he makes up wit poise, and awareness...Jst ask julio jones and a,j. greene. Peterson shuts the best wr down and f 40times..thts y teams miss out on great players...mark my words...this guy within 4 yrs will be right behind Osaugma and Revis
@CDiddy51 Watch him this year return punts and kickoffs and well see how slow he is. He shuts down recievers in the fastest confrence in college football.
ok your complaning about refs in 07 when alabama was moving the ball and they called a incompletion on a obvious catch and it cost alabama the game so this wasd payback and alabama would have won the game no matter what bitch
he coved julio jones better than anybody has in college football most of his yards came while petersen was injured which was a smart move by nick saban to go to his best receiver while lsu's best coner that had pretty much shout him down was out of the game but when he came back in the game jones was un heard from all over again--dam sec refs really dropped the ball this season-----

wow... I was in the stadium when this happened... I had no idea.. that was TOTALLY an interception, no doubt about it. what a fuckin jip.

With the number 3 pick in the 2011 NFL draft, The Dallas Cowboys select.... Patrick Peterson CB LSU haha
fredsnotdeadyet 1 year ago 3
@fredsnotdeadyet hell ya we need him newman is threw
drumslanga352 1 year ago
@drumslanga352 Yea I think he will fall because Prince Amukamara is a Revis type ready to start all around better player then Peterson. I do think however that Peterson will have a better career then Prince because he is like a Deion Sanders type. I really dont see 2 CB's going in the top 10 so I think Peterson will fall to us, then the 2nd round we can get Rahim Moore or Deunta Williams at S and we just fixed our secondary for 8 years with Jenkins, Peterson, Williams/Moore, Akwasi, Scandrick

@drumslanga352 Mike Jenkins is on thin Ice, PATRICK TO DALLAS

the next deion sanders...?
DWareFTW 1 year ago
@ShodowBlazer just cause he gets the pick doesnt mean they go down and score.. they struggled most of the night... and had a backup qb and backup rb in so that shrinks their chances
SECISBEAST 1 year ago
@SECISBEAST
a backup qb? sure, JJ is technically the starter, but in terms of skill, imho, Jarret Lee is LEAGUES ahead. not to mention the "backup rb" you spoke of happens to be the 5-star recruit Michael Ford, who is going to and probably would be if he got more playing time, a complete stud.
-so, no. if *anything*, our chances were actually going to be better.
J0ECRAWF15H 1 year ago
@J0ECRAWF15H sure he was leauges ahead in knowlege but he was young still and obviously had skill but it showed that he didnt know how to use it just yet... its all about the playcalling too... which yall succeded in last saturday btw congrats lol
SECISBEAST 1 year ago
@SECISBEAST
I think he knows how to use it just fine, much more so than JJ does, anyways, but, opinion based on observation, whatevs.
Thank you.
J0ECRAWF15H 1 year ago
@J0ECRAWF15H
-as he should, considering he's a (rs)junior.
J0ECRAWF15H 1 year ago
@J0ECRAWF15H it is an opinion of course... but ive talked to people outside of bama and they agree. im not bashing on the kid or disagrreing that he has come into his own and i agreed that he had talent and when he saw that busted coverage on that 3rd and 13 that sealed the game against alabama he took advantage of it... thats pretty good to me lol
SECISBEAST 1 year ago
This has been flagged as spam show
type in- alabama vs lsu 2010 -and go to the 9th video down and try and tell that this is worse than that
SECISBEAST 1 year ago
He got that pick, and them saying he didnt made them loose that game. Gotta say every official seems to hate LSU.

If the panthers keep losing we'll draft him number 1

Only in Alabama is that not an interception. Nice hose job.

@henders98 And Florida during the Tebow era
jhall024 1 year ago
Bama still would have won. LSU was losing with their second string QB and RB in.Plus they were going against what was the best defense in the country last year.

just imagine how good the eagles defense will be next year when they get either patrick peterson or amukamura..

Dumb refs
Whodattwodat 1 year ago
i don't give a fuck what those refs said, Peterson caught that ball.
lsutiger719 1 year ago
that was clearly a pick that call changed the whole game cause even thoy LSU was losing they had all the momentum going and the damn ref blew the game for LSU.

Fuckin gumps..

I love how right away Chad Jones pointed to the spot where Peterson dragged his foot inbounds.
Note to opposing QBs this season, don't throw it in Peterson's direction, he will eat that shit up.

All-American all you need to say
magoo77stickinit 1 year ago
I cryed when this happened. LSU would have went to the SEC champ. if they got this call right and they would have beat Ole Miss. Patrick Peterson though is a f****** monster shut down corner.
lsumavsboy4 1 year ago
just a couple of weeks ago his 40 time was electronically timed at 4.37 so as far as im concerned thats not slow
bonafideplaymak3r 1 year ago
Tatertots00: yeah considering you guys play in the WAC and had like two games against ranked teams and the rest were shitty teams. Hell we could throw Mississipi State in that conference and they'd go undefeated to
justsomedude3 1 year ago
@justsomedude3 lol true that, the SEC is a confrence on another level.
Miss. St. or Vandy would rape anyone from the WAC
lsumavsboy4 1 year ago
@lsumavsboy4 miss state can beat teams in the big east this year. they are going to finish in front of ole miss
bronization 1 year ago
@bronization fo sho they can beat teams in the big east but they have to step it up to beat ole miss but they can do it ole miss is loosing alot of talent
lsumavsboy4 1 year ago
LMAO at Alabama's "national title". Boise State REAL CHAMPIONS baby refs don't have to cheat for us
tatertots00 1 year ago
this still pisses me offf..... Alabama swing the play... maybe bear bryants spirit from the grave (no disrespect to one of the greatest coaches ever) threatened the referee causing him to say incomplete when there was a big ass hole of grass missing where peterson got his foot in
stevie wonder ( once agai, no hate here) must have been the one in the replay booth
jstar3293 1 year ago
Im bankin on LSU beating both bama and ole miss in death valley this year.
Nosferatu44 1 year ago
the next shut down corner in the nfl maybe the best since deion
THELSUALLDAY 1 year ago
@THELSUALLDAY
Peterson is good but I'd say Champ Bailey was a better CB prospect as of right now. There are others but I'm too lazy to name them.

Patrick Peterson....... is one of the best on the LSU team........ He surely got that interception, got one the year before that against Albama, Returned A blocked field goal against Ole Miss, and returned a pick against Miss. State, and a whole bumch of other amazing crap. way to go Patrick.

@reile567 i think he deserved more love this year
DianteLee 1 year ago
@reile567 Hes too slow to be a high draft pick in the NFL. Think Donovan Warren, his 40 time destroyed his draft stock even though, skill wise, he was a very good corner. Peterson will be seen as a Malcom Jenkins type player.
CDiddy51 1 year ago
@CDiddy51 he runs like a 4.46, i mean dang give him a break. he is rated # 7 on the big board and they are right....wht he lacks in speed he makes up wit poise, and awareness...Jst ask julio jones and a,j. greene. Peterson shuts the best wr down and f 40times..thts y teams miss out on great players...mark my words...this guy within 4 yrs will be right behind Osaugma and Revis
reile567 1 year ago
@CDiddy51 Watch him this year return punts and kickoffs and well see how slow he is. He shuts down recievers in the fastest confrence in college football.
lsumavsboy4 1 year ago
i remember seeing this...i was flipping when the refs said no interception...anyways patrick peterson is clearly a BEAST!!!
CamiloVillegasFan21 2 years ago
ok your complaning about refs in 07 when alabama was moving the ball and they called a incompletion on a obvious catch and it cost alabama the game so this wasd payback and alabama would have won the game no matter what bitch
uknow2010 2 years ago
obvious catch in 2007? you mean when the nose of the ball was clearly on the ground? LOL
meathdetal 1 year ago
Patrick Peterson's probably the best all around cornerback in the nation.

YO X, i hope your right man! He may have some decision making to work on but other than that you cant beat his size and speed!

I would say that Florida Got A couple of guys that could give this guy a Run for his Money in Joe Haden and Janoris Jankins
Draftday101 2 years ago
he coved julio jones better than anybody has in college football most of his yards came while petersen was injured which was a smart move by nick saban to go to his best receiver while lsu's best coner that had pretty much shout him down was out of the game but when he came back in the game jones was un heard from all over again--dam sec refs really dropped the ball this season-----
