Harris Fire advances toward Rancho San Diego

I found a photo of the Harris fire just behind a mountain that was only miles away from downtown.

i remember going to bed the night it started with only 1 fire going on, praying please dont get any bigger and the next morning there were like 9 more

it was horrible

I remember going to bed with the thought we were safe, the fires never reach laet alone pass mount miguel. 4:00 am that next morning my mom woke me up saying pack my stuff we had to leave the fire just peaked mount miguel. 45 mins later we were at the top of our street the fire was already at the bottom of the mountain heading toward the reservoir. That is the one morning i will never forget!

no they would have lit way more fires with the santana winds and they are wiling to commit suicide for their people so im sure they would have lit up everything they could of before they were caught and they would have been after dc and stuff anyways

This Harris fire is scary, i hope it gets contained soon, its like effecting a lot of my friends

We have property in Jamul which is near the Mexican border and is buring in the Harris Fire. Alot of illegal aliens crossing the border set up these make shift camps. Illegal aliens have the utmost disregard when they build a camp fire! By not protecting our borders and kissing Mexico's ass, President Bush is directly responsible for these fires! I feel so stupid because I voted for this dumbass.
