Beatle Bob takes away from the brilliance of this song. I don't know Beatle Bob, but what has he created. Money and time affords you the opportunity to see bands or amass albums. All this really doesn't matter, creating sonic masterpieces does.

appears to be GBV's show at the ole' mississippi nights where the Trail of Dead opened up. that was an amazing show! everyone including the opening act were in awe of GBV's performance.

beetle bob is kind, caring & genuine. he just makes some inappropriate decisions from time to time...nobody's perfect. gotta hand it to BB, he has "bulldog skin".

Anytime we do a visit to a St. Louis club (Off Broadway, Blueberry Hill, etc) to see a band, Bob is there about 75% of the time. He is has to be THE ultimate music fan. Rock on Beatle Bob and GBVs!

When I was 15 and sneaking into show - Beatle Bob was there every time, and became my hero for that. 21 years later he is all but nationally famous (at least to those who matter) and still makes me smile. I just can't believe he has any hearing left - half of mine is gone and I don't dance anything near as much as him.

Beatle Bob got a raw deal in N.O. even before Katrina. Last time I saw him was at an Alex Chilton show at El Matador. Godspeed you Beatle Bob, wherever you are! Oh, and the GBV song is pretty cool, too!
