  • I love it when Jim Perry tries to pep up their spirits

    A Class Act

  • @ssalcyxalag Double Dare with Alex Trebek also used the TPIR losing horns when a player loses against the "Spoilers".

  • hahahahaha

  • What were the chances of 3 aces popping up on the Money Cards?

  • @landrykkb Especially after 2 of them not falling right as it happened here, it must be very small, but it's just how the cards are shuffled and cut. 2 of those Aces were pure unlucky.

  • I wonder why Patty said "not very many face cards" at 2:47-- probably because she wasted all of them early on like a dummy.

  • @TheJamesgordon43 In addition a tie resulted in a loss back in 1979, adding even more pressure.

  • As I recall this episode had a lot of weird cards.

  • The Agony of Busting...

  • dang those aces!

  • "3 aces in 7 cards" LOL!

  • A very unlucky last card methinks.

  • She would've been better off keeping the 5.

  • Jim Perry was the best CS host ever. His intensity and flair for the dramatic was unparalleled.

  • what about bob eubanks?

  • He apparently had a little too much humor from the Newlywed Game, Jim Perry was the better CS Host.

  • True. I could tell cuz he told lots of jokes and he was well known. Perry was a better host and I have to agree with that.

  • @terjer01 Jim Perry Rules!!!

  • The losing Horns!

  • Finally I found a CS clip with the losing horns.

  • oh the agony of the losing horns!!!

  • IT BUUUUUUUUUUUUURNZ!

  • one of the best of the nbc game shows from the 70's. too bad all the networks have in daytime is syndicated talk.

  • OUCH!!!!!

  • She was on Press Your Luck in April 1984.

  • She would much better on PYL

  • That ace at the top had to hurt.

  • And so did the one at the bottom..I didn't see that coming.

  • Aces beat kings, That's gotta hurt.

  • Yeah, I know what you mean.

  • @amez4life Of course it did. How could she lose $1,400 by just assuming that the next card was lower than a queen? Didn't she know not to assume anything?
