The Army was attacked by surprise and many beleive that those attackers where backed by Saudi training, supply and money... So, and for once, the Moslem Lebanese stood united with the Christians and finished off with the camp. Throughout the Lebanese war (1975-1990) the only government entity that remained united was the Leb. Army. This army is the symbol of unity of LEbanon.
