I was raised in the 1980s to love my God and my Country. I was taught to hate communism/socialism because they choke out Religion and Personal freedom. The current economic collapse was engineered to wipe out America so that a World Socialist Government can be formed. It is our moral obligation to our God and our country to fight against this forces of evil, dont let 1984 turn into 1776, stop the New World Order.

Good statement, however, I believe that the blame is for Democrats and Republicans alike. I believe that both parties have over the years strategically set up America for the position that they are in today. You see, we know this, but it is our job as believers in Christ to keep exposing truth to people. And I'm not saying to yell at people saying that everyone is going to hell, look at this world, and we're all done for. In these last days, we should share with people God's grace and the gospel of peace.

We all know that the world is going to crap and the forces of THIS world are making sure of that. But there is another side to that coin. I go to a few different churches because I am in full time ministry, and I see a whole new generation of believers rising up. The Holy Spirit is also working through people like no other time in history in these last days. I can look at the one side and say this world is crap. Or I can rejoice that these are the last days because Christ is coming. Peace.

@mrcdhn I agree, God is Good, and by the world being bad, it allows us to grow and to truly standup for what we believe in. God calls each of us for a different purpose, for me God has been saying peace is the absence of evil, not war. I cant sit back and watch my fellow Americans slowly get killed.

I saw them in fall 2008 with Jars of Clay and Switchfoot. I just couldn't wait for them to get on stage. We were third row and boy were they great! I love, love them and this song. I do like the original song by Rich Mullins and the instrument that he played. Third Day does do a very good rendition of his song.
