The sad reality is that most young people don't even recognise something that's truly beautiful and of value. Music is a language even without words. Music is an ever changing entity. Meaning and styles change as new things become important to different groups of people. I merely wished to defend my generations' music and artistic expression. As a musician and member of the younger generation, I found it hard to believe that meaning had managed to disappear... It did bother me to think that people could assume that something that i put so much energy and time into could be anywhere near worthless.
