  • Talk me of love

  • so if that is in fact what your hands are doing don't be so condescending about it. If you complement your own tastes by saying everything else is not worth anything, don't be surprised when people tell you to rethink your position.

  • I agree wholeheartedly with you it is so sad that our youngsters do not even hear this beautiful music

  • They say that music is language without boundries. And listening to this beautiful voice, and seing the beautiful video with this song, I understand deep in my heart the meaning of those words. I'm so sorry for young people of this age. They have been robbed of beauty such as this music represents. They have been sold cheap substitutes, that dulls their hearts. I have been blest by knowing this beauty...

  • if you really think that all new music is so bad.... then your world most be terribly sad.

  • No, I don't think that ALL new music is bad, but most of it is noise without depth of meaning. The sad reality is that most young people don't even recognise something that's truly beautiful and of value. Music is a language even without words. If there were people a in a far space, and they came to earth, they would be able to judge human culture by the music they listen to. And for this generation of people, I say they would be sorely disappointed...

  • .... Don't know why people need to validate their own taste in music by talking down about something else. If you actually bothered to look, you'd find a lot of music to enjoy.

  • It's not matter of trying validate mine & putting down other's. It's matter of discerning thing of beauty & value from what's shallow, empty, of no value & even hurtful because it affects human soul. It's like food, you become what you feed your soul with. Problem is that today's people are told there are no absolutes, that's why you can't discern between those opposites. In my 2nd com't bellow I said not all new music is bad, but most is worthless and dulls human hearts.

  • people find meaning in all kinds of things. and to say that so many are wrong just because you "know" you are right... if you looked for beauty you'd find it but youve shut yourself down.

plus how many of your generation actually gives a shit about this kind of music anyway? in reality, your generation is just as "dull" as mine.

  • I do not think beauty has a limit, which some one can hold in his hands and say "oh. this is it! there is nothing beyond". Human brain has no limits to create. And I am proud of it. I do not think any of human generation was dull or is dull at all. Again, art is an expression of our lifestyle. I like listening my son's CDs on my way to work and I like listening to organ music on my way back home. I love music of all generations, and I am grateful to all those creators.

  • I understand what you're trying to say, and agree that beauty has no limit, but not that that it has no direction & that anything can be beautiful. It defies laws of nature. Just like there is only one truth & is not depended on our human opinions, but is self existent , so is the case of what is beautiful and what is not.. But it depends on us if we will recognize it or not, but the conditions for recognizing it are another matter & another topic for another time

  • I'm sorry you found my comment so offensive. It seems that people get so defensive when something is spoken to them if they don't agree. l didn't say the things I said to provoke no one to resentment, but I sense it in you... Hope you have good day!

  • there is no resentment, but i just don't see a point in dissing on beautiful things just because you personally find one to be better than another.

  • Music is an ever changing entity. Meaning and styles change as new things become important to different groups of people. I merely wished to defend my generations' music and artistic expression. As a musician and member of the younger generation, I found it hard to believe that meaning had managed to disappear... It did bother me to think that people could assume that something that i put so much energy and time into could be anywhere near worthless.

  • All creations such as poetry, songs, instrumentals, paintings or structures, etc. are an expression of our 'higher self' our Creator GOD.

Some is judged by peers as more inspired then others only because of their experience or practice, or just 'born with it' in bringing it about.

Some songs or drawings/paintings are truly expressions of pain or a cry for help, which may not be understood by the more 'fortunate' among us, but can be great works of expressions nevertheless.

  • I completely agree that music is universal language. Also, I understand why people think that all this true beautiful music is unknown to the young generation. Art/music is the reflection/result/product of the lifestyle. Even that noise without depth is a product of our life. that is where we leave. It is in the hands of adults to search and point out the beauty any time, any where, in any heart. Some of the noise is a cry for help. It is important to keep them as close to us, adults, as we can.

  • Yes, music/art is the reflection/result/product of lifestyles people live & expresses who we are & what is in us. And what 's much part of today's popular culture is the reflection of what is made out of. To be honest it's a sad picture. There are some cries for help, but much of it is defiying rebellion disguised as expression of freedom. But if someone is crying, they also need not bite the hands that are stretched out to help them and show the way...

  • Right, but not corrupted.

    Le chagrin est vite apaisé

    Et se console d'un baiser

Du cœur on guérit la blessure

Par un serment qui le rassure

  • fudwadia, type in the name of this song..parlez moi d'amour..in the blank space above and click on search. When all the selections of "parlez moi d'amour" show on the screen , scroll down about 18 selections until you find a lady and a man with banjo. they are singing in french. The english translation is to the right ....just click on the blue writing (more info). That should show the translation. I hope this works out for you. Let me know.

  • Can someone translate the words of this song into English?

  • Try ..uking.. in the search. They are a wonderful couple singing in French and the english translation is to the right.

  • Starts with (done as I'm hearing the song now) Speak to me about love Repeat me tender things Your beautiful discourse My heart is not tired of hearing it As long as you keep repeating these supreme words: I love you. You know very well, I don't believe a word of it...
