Also to romanhelmet....We do not know what Bear does with the crew off camera and we do not know he does not get help from other sources. Bear's show might be more entertaining (to some) but Les Stroud if one has analyzed his show would be the one to take as there has been concrete evidence that les really can stay alive anywhere.

hey romanhelmet999 actually I would rather be with Les Stroud (Survivorman) First of all we all know he has what it takes to be in the wild and that he IS alone. Les has superior survival skills to Bear and makes use of his surroundings oh so much better.

longtoung, we don't know that les can survive everywhere, because when he stays in the wild, he has stupid crap like pop, bottled water, and I'm watching him right now on tv with a gun. I just have to hope that when I'm trapped in the wild I just might happen to have whatever he has in his stupid scenarios; that doesn't teach me much. I'm not saying Bear is better, but les' scenarios are unrealistic.

I can understand why you think that is unrealistic but actually if you think about it, its very realistic. You most likely will be stuck with something other than just plain you and he is trying to undermine that. With Les we know what is going on and he holds nothing back from us. Bear, the complete opposite. He makes a great show but for all we know during camera breaks he could be drinking hot coco with the crew.
