  • I grew up with the Hamms commercials. Never made me want to drink Hamms beer, but I loved the spots. If Hamms is still around, I might hoist a few out of respect.

    Thanks for the memories!

  • Under 35...Please My grandparents used to occupy me as a baby with an old panoramic rippler hamms sign... At 32 i still find it captivating... and the beer tastes great too

  • That is so funny. Smart grandparents.

  • And it was a pool table ..... i was perched on Hmmmmm i turned out just fine. GOd knows that if it was some 80's child he would have blamed this on his addiction. Pussy ... Its called accountability !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks for the comment

  • I bet they were fun people. I recall an old geezer who lived on the Brule river. He fished, hunted and drank beer. His place was full of bar signs and for furniture he had a pool table, a bed, and slot machines.

  • There's a hayseed tavern out in the far western suburbs of Chicago that has one of those... and yes, it IS disturbingly mesmerizing...

  • Can you recall the mini 6 pack cans shaped like kegs

  • I don't know if anyone under 35 can appreciate this commercial

  • im in my twenties and i love this stuff. the carlings black label ads are nice too.

  • well now cant say that im 17 an this commercial kicks butt most commercials nowadays are dumb, also Hammsbeer is great beer but i like leinenkugel's Best nothin can match them

  • Well... I think thats great. Seems like todays commercials are too "polished" I personally like the retro look. Perhaps I'm just reminicsing though.

  • I agree all the way with you, but the commercial for jack links beef jercky with the sasquatch thoughs are pretty funny

  • the best beer

  • Where was the "land of sky-blue waters?

  • Minnesota

  • I was hoping they weren't referring to Lake Michigan.

  • Why?

  • It's far from pristine. I would not drink a beer if it was made with water from the Great Lakes.

  • I DID think that last beer tasted a little polluted. Oh wait...that was the left over pizza.

  • The Hamm's bear was funnier than Yogi Bear.

  • ST. PAUL not Chicago!

  • *Sigh* You just can't dancing cartoon animals to sell beer like you used to...

  • great chicago beer in the 60's---loved it!!!peace

  • clever commercial.
