  • Chris, as long as we STILL have the ability to speak out and to bring attn to injustice, we will do so.

Best wishes to you and acknowledgment to the contributions you've made and cont. to make.

  • I just can't imagine having to live like that. There are LAZY people who don't DESERVE Medicaid who are getting it and people who NEED it can't get it. It makes me ill. I know this family personally and they are GOOD people! There has to be something done about this. The gov't will bail out banks but won't help to keep someone alive. It's outrageous.

  • @mom2ck

I agree with you, but I think if the government didn't bail out banks, a lot of people wouldn't be able to adjust there credit and buy food or have a house to live in, and could eventually die. I think they should work for a grocery company, because they offer health insurance, unless there paralyzed and can't move, in which the government would provide for them.

  • It happen in altha florida where I lived the man had to divorce his wife after 25 years in order to get medicare

  • This is disturbing, I have faced the fact that if I get sick I will die period. This is America? Fox News & right-wingers are always attacking people saying they are Un-American as they arrack people like Chris in this video and say he is looking for a free lunch. He worked his whole life, paid taxes and this is what his country does for him. I don't see any solutions as long as the Bush administration allows CORPORATIONS to control America like they do. If we don't rise up we will all suffer.

  • Hope and prayers going out to Chris. This is an atrocity... our government is an atrocity. They spend trillions on killing, but very little on saving lives.

  • something, or perhaps things, need to be done to increase the quality of health care in the United States so that you aren't left pennyless in a time of need unable to pay for health costs the rest of your life, which may be shorter because of this.
