@lsb3340 Depends on the load you're shooting and the weight of the gun and the action of the gun (auto vs pump or single/double shot). In general, a gun that weighs more will kick less, and an auto will kick less than a single shot/double barrel. Also, the smaller the shot, the less kick. And slugs kick more than shot, and the heavier the slug, the more it will kick. But as a general rule of thumb, a 12 will kick more than a 20.
