I have fond memories of discovering a Berzerk machine for the first time. I went to an arcade with a friend of mine near his house on the north side of Chicago, IL. I remember how amazing the game looked to me because of how bright the graphics were in the dimly-lit arcade. More importantly, I was fascinated with the computer-generated speech, and today, I run an application that reads email and web pages by phone with computerized speech.

Best song on the album in my book! I've only seen an arcade game of Berzerk one time, so thank goodness I made the right choice and played it! Otto killed me in the game, but not in person! RIP, Peter Burkowski and Jeff Dailey.

This is my favorite song from this album. This is 80's novelty songwriting at it's finest. I always wished they would use this song for a theme song on a new reality TV show. TV Show theme music these days suck major ass balloons. Buckner & Garcia also made some of my favorite songs from the Waffle House® jukebox.

Wrong! Berzerk came out in 1980, two years before Robotron. Berzerk was made by Stern Electronics, whereas Robotron was made by Vid Kidz (Eugene Jarvis and Larry Demar's company) for Williams. Berzerk was the main inspiration for Robotron, though - Eugene Jarvis said he always liked Berzerk, but hated that you could only fire in the direction you faced.
