I just realised, but the news don't mention anything about Richard Brook or Moriarty's body being found on the top of the building, dead. It's like his body was never found - if so, who moved the body, or is Jim Moriarty not dead after all?
@TheOriginalSaika Moriarty has men everywhere. It seems highly unlikely that he wouldn't have set up a protocol for them to follow after he died. There would never be a chance of an outsider finding his body, in any situation. That would've been to dangerous. Some of his men inside the hospital must've cleaned up after him. I think. Because I really don't believe Moriarty faked his death. I don't think he'd want to. I think he utterly loved blowing his brains out to fuck Sherlock Holmes over.
This video just... makes me sick to my stomach. I can't help feeling that somewhere, in another universe where this is real, there are real people who don't know, who don't believe that Sherlock Holmes is the extraordinary, the magnificent man that he is. I was walking through my city's center two days ago, and suddenly I've noticed something interesting on a wall. I stopped and looked at it, and I got a bit shocked. It was an A4 poster, with Moriarty's face on it, and "MORIRATY WAS REAL" above it, written with a black marker. The bottom of the poster was cut in small pieces you could rip off, with "I believe" on each one.
I can't stand watching this video...I want to punch all of them for doubting Sherlock! I know he fabricated this on purpose, but DAMN I hate when people hate! Ugh. If I were John, I would feel SO messed up from this video.
All it took was them planting that idea into your heads, and you ate it up you are so eager to take in the lies that you completely ignore the truth you minipulate the facts to suit your agenda

@ThatGirlCatherine I don't think he was dead. It wouldn't have been difficult to fake that, and Sherlock never checked. He just jumped straight off the roof. No-one else saw Moriarty shoot himself, Conclusion: He just walked away.

@BotaliaX Moriarty implied that there was a way to call off the snipers which meant Sherlock wouldn't have to jump. Sherlock said that he would find out how to from Moriarty. Moriarty decided he could only do that while he (Moriaty) was alive, so he shot himself, thus ensuring, in his mind, that Sherlock would have to commit suicide or face his friends being killed.
@Calenmarwen But at first Moriaty said even Sherlock's brother make him do what he wants, so he wasn't worried at all Sherlock could find out the way to call off from himself. Until Sherlock said "don't think for 1 second I'm one of the angels", then suddenly Moriaty shot himself, I don't get it, why the change?
So sad :'( I can't wait for series 3! I don't have a clue how sherlock survived, but ofc Molly must have had something to do with it...Steven Moffat has said that apparently there's a vital clue that everyone's missed in their theories, something sherlock did in the episode that was very out of character...hmmmm
@Veleriana There is no Richard Brook. It is Moriarty. Sherlock is not a fraud and we know this because the audience gets to see Sherlock's reaction in the black cab when Moriarty is on the TV screen (and driving).
SH jumped onto the vehicle and survived. He was specific about telling JW where to stand - he could see the fall but not the landing. We know Molly helps at some point. She could have pronounced a fake-bloodied SH as dead (JW was in a daze) or, since she works in a morgue, provided a corpse wearing the SH mask that JM used during the kidnap (presumably such a thing existed to create the fear of SH from the girl). Or, the corpse was JM in the mask (perhaps foreshadowed by the dialogue "I am you")
It makes me so angry to see this video. I know Sherlock is a fictional character, but he is a fictional character I care deeply for. To see him being called a fake hurts. :(
My theory: Sherlock did jump onto the pavement. He knew Moriarty wanted him to die, but didn't know how. Also the sniper aiming at John would be able to see the fall himself, so it couldn't be prearranged. I suspect that Sherlock wasn't 100% certain of his survival-his ending phonecall w/ John is too emotional to be a ploy-he wouldn't bother crying where no one could see the tears. Sherlock=urban ninja, so I reckon he knew how to survive the fall w/ few injuries, which Molly reported as a death.
Now, Moriarty. Had a fake gun that only makes a loud shoot noise. "Shooted" himself in a place of the body he could hide the wound. Had a bag of fake blood on his back/neck, had only to fall back to pop the bag and release the blood. Saw Sherlock jumping and got away from the building shortly after. End
Changed my mind! (I'm sooo changeable!). Sherlock did jump, fell on the garbage truck, threw himself in the ground, used fake blood, used his homeless connection (or maybe Mycroft people) to be around him and prevent Watson to examine the body, prearranged Molly to declare him dead. End
My theory: Sherlock fell off of the roof, but there was a truck parked next to where he "fell" with garbage bags, the perfect place for him to land safely. Molly dressed up a corpse to look like Sherlock, blood covered and all, and put him in the spot where Sherlock would have fallen. The bicyclist was a distraction for molly to place the body, and the truck to drive off. The people surrounding the body were from the Homeless network Sherlock mentioned earlier in the episode.
@eastgurl09 I believe we can't trust Jonh's eyes either, but sherlock was falling moving his legs and arms, and he saw that before the concussion, but I'm still not sure if he did jump. There's something bothering me, Sherlock texted "Got something of yours you might want back" to Jim, what was that? And I'm not sure if Sherlock knew before he got in the rooftop that Jim's plan was to make him commit suicide, which discards a previously thought plan. Maybe he just had to improvise.
@nyappynoodle The code was something SH had in his head that JM wanted back, apparently... Though, the longer I'm thinking about how SH survived the fall, the less I'm sure about anything(((
@nyappynoodle Sherlock did jump, and he told John to keep his eyes on him so that when John was knocked over, he would see that the body was Sherlocks, because he -saw- him jump. His brain is telling him that its Sherlock. I've been reading through theories of others, and some have decided that he was talking about the camera Sherlock found in the apartment. Why was the camera focused on for a scene, and then we don't hear about it again?
@eastgurl09 and what about the colour of the shirt? on the roof Sherlock was wearing a dark one, while falling off the roof a white one, on the pavement in the dark one again. maybe it wasn't Sherlock jumping after all? o.O
@NithaFe I just rewatched the scene so I could double check, but the white shirt we see is an undershirt. He's wearing the dark purple shirt on top, and the white shirt is only seen when he's falling. I know for sure that it was Sherlock that jumped.

Can anyone explain to me why Moriarty kill himself?!!! I don't understand what Sherlock said would cause him to do that!

@BotaliaX Moriarty implied that there was a way to call off the snipers which meant Sherlock wouldn't have to jump. Sherlock said that he would find out how to from Moriarty. Moriarty decided he could only do that while he (Moriaty) was alive, so he shot himself, thus ensuring, in his mind, that Sherlock would have to commit suicide or face his friends being killed.

@Calenmarwen But at first Moriaty said even Sherlock's brother make him do what he wants, so he wasn't worried at all Sherlock could find out the way to call off from himself. Until Sherlock said "don't think for 1 second I'm one of the angels", then suddenly Moriaty shot himself, I don't get it, why the change?

I don't have a clue how sherlock survived, but ofc Molly must have had something to do with it...Steven Moffat has said that apparently there's a vital clue that everyone's missed in their theories, something sherlock did in the episode that was very out of character...hmmmm

@Veleriana There is no Richard Brook. It is Moriarty. Sherlock is not a fraud and we know this because the audience gets to see Sherlock's reaction in the black cab when Moriarty is on the TV screen (and driving).

SH jumped onto the vehicle and survived. He was specific about telling JW where to stand - he could see the fall but not the landing. We know Molly helps at some point. She could have pronounced a fake-bloodied SH as dead (JW was in a daze) or, since she works in a morgue, provided a corpse wearing the SH mask that JM used during the kidnap (presumably such a thing existed to create the fear of SH from the girl). Or, the corpse was JM in the mask (perhaps foreshadowed by the dialogue "I am you")

It makes me so angry to see this video. I know Sherlock is a fictional character, but he is a fictional character I care deeply for. To see him being called a fake hurts. :(

My theory: Sherlock did jump onto the pavement. He knew Moriarty wanted him to die, but didn't know how. Also the sniper aiming at John would be able to see the fall himself, so it couldn't be prearranged. I suspect that Sherlock wasn't 100% certain of his survival-his ending phonecall w/ John is too emotional to be a ploy-he wouldn't bother crying where no one could see the tears. Sherlock=urban ninja, so I reckon he knew how to survive the fall w/ few injuries, which Molly reported as a death.

Now, Moriarty. Had a fake gun that only makes a loud shoot noise. "Shooted" himself in a place of the body he could hide the wound. Had a bag of fake blood on his back/neck, had only to fall back to pop the bag and release the blood. Saw Sherlock jumping and got away from the building shortly after. End

Changed my mind! (I'm sooo changeable!). Sherlock did jump, fell on the garbage truck, threw himself in the ground, used fake blood, used his homeless connection (or maybe Mycroft people) to be around him and prevent Watson to examine the body, prearranged Molly to declare him dead. End

My theory: Sherlock fell off of the roof, but there was a truck parked next to where he "fell" with garbage bags, the perfect place for him to land safely. Molly dressed up a corpse to look like Sherlock, blood covered and all, and put him in the spot where Sherlock would have fallen. The bicyclist was a distraction for molly to place the body, and the truck to drive off. The people surrounding the body were from the Homeless network Sherlock mentioned earlier in the episode.

@eastgurl09 I believe we can't trust Jonh's eyes either, but sherlock was falling moving his legs and arms, and he saw that before the concussion, but I'm still not sure if he did jump. There's something bothering me, Sherlock texted "Got something of yours you might want back" to Jim, what was that? And I'm not sure if Sherlock knew before he got in the rooftop that Jim's plan was to make him commit suicide, which discards a previously thought plan. Maybe he just had to improvise.

@nyappynoodle Sherlock did jump, and he told John to keep his eyes on him so that when John was knocked over, he would see that the body was Sherlocks, because he -saw- him jump. His brain is telling him that its Sherlock. I've been reading through theories of others, and some have decided that he was talking about the camera Sherlock found in the apartment. Why was the camera focused on for a scene, and then we don't hear about it again?

@eastgurl09 and what about the colour of the shirt? on the roof Sherlock was wearing a dark one, while falling off the roof a white one, on the pavement in the dark one again. maybe it wasn't Sherlock jumping after all? o.O

@NithaFe I just rewatched the scene so I could double check, but the white shirt we see is an undershirt. He's wearing the dark purple shirt on top, and the white shirt is only seen when he's falling. I know for sure that it was Sherlock that jumped.
