Real chip music can be made with programs like MilkyTracker and LittleSoundDJ (LSDJ). It's pretty difficult to get your head around, but you can probably google up a lot of tutorials.

Keygen music is usually 16 bit, not 8 bit, so you might want to look into how to create SNES music instead.
