@hanzmari milou is french for snowy and I think it was like that when tintin first came to the states because I think it was published in England and possible Canada many years before the first tintin comics were published in the states. As for thompson and thomson I have no Idea why their names where changed, maybe because the previous generation doesn't trust the French because they ditched their allies in niam or something along those lines.
Ever since the movie came out, Tintin became so popular! After I saw the movie, I became a maniac far Tintin! And to think, Tintin was introduced to me by my French tutor!
Thanks for the great upload! These 90's Tintin cartoon adaptations stayed true to the classic Herge comics, and are timeless.
Just saw the Spielberg version a few weeks ago - and while the graphics in that one were def. a step forward in CGI technology, the spirit of Herge from the original comics, the emotion and relationships of the characters was lost.... just another dissapointing money making enterprise
over 30,000 views! now people are starting to know about tintin! I have all the books in Turkish (incliding Soviets and Alph-Art) (oh yeah by the way Im turkish) I have all the series of this video. I have 4-5 English books (I am collecting) I have the new animated film and it goes on...
i used to watch the full episodes of adventures of tintin here in youtube, but now i cant find it..some of the episodes are missing like the broken ear and land of black gold..does anyone know where can i download all the episodes? thanks..
@DuchessAliana , I know it sounds crazy, but I had never heard of Tintin unil I was about 15. One of my older friends gave me a Tintin book to read, and I was hooked! I found some Tintin videos and watched them for hours!
I wish with all my heart I'd been introduced to them as a kid.
I'm 20 now, and I still love the books (and films) as ever.
@Yammahoo Are you from the U.S.? I'd never heard of Tintin either since for some reason he's not very well-known here :( I found one of the books in my library once as a kid and wanted to read it, but it was in French. So I never got to read any until now, after having seen the new movie (which I loved). I was really into detective-type stories as a kid so I wish I'd been introduced earlier - when I have my own kids I'm making sure they know who Tintin is at an early age :D
@DuchessAliana, I'm from the UK. Tintin isn't very well-known over here either. Well, not like in France, where in nearly every supermarket you can get it!
In UK, you have to go to HUGE bookshops where, if you're lucky, you might be able to get one.
Or sometimes you have to go to specialised shops to get it.
man, the minute i heard that tintin was once a cartoon i had to each the cartoons myself! tintin is the best cartoon ever! sadly, now all we have for cartoons are mostly "lame" ( woulda said something "different but not allowd XD ) anyway i hope i can see all of them!!!!! :3
