Ah jesus, that brings back memories. We were always driving for hours and hours. the sessions you talked about for years to come.... never thinking they could be the times that basically defined you because of the decisions you made back then.... Thank you scrapbag!!! And gopd luck to you
Where was this filmed? It took me several minutes to notice, but you're on the wrong side of the road for it to be England. In fact, it's a good thing about this video that it could really be anywhere; it makes it more relatable.
Although there won't ever be a better band than QUEEN, I surely have to admit: NMA is awesome with Green and Grey their best song (even if I have "more" memories with 51st State -> first love etc.:))
I simply cannot stop commenting! Each time I watch this clip I weep.
You managed to capture the essence perfectly. Strikes deeper with each viewing. Am delighted to see a suggestion transformed into splendid reality. Bravo!
A masterpiece! Until I watch it again, be well my friend.
i agree. best band that i heard, im 30, a good mate, new age human a bit older than me turned me onto new model army in 96, and also a mate thats in a successful band.
nma sorted me out, what a genius sullivan is, a new age english poet, he says it all, what a writer, u can hear him mean itm, its his heart body and soul,,,thanx for the video, lovely made film, and what a record
Not to sound to far out or pretencious but I have this childish feeling that those of us who love this album have some sort of weird and unspoken connection. I live on the complete oppossite of those 'rain swept hills' (south america) and somehow have always felt so damn connected to everything heard and spoken on Thunder and Consolation. I guess that's what great music is and does.
Grew up walking the Noth Yorkshire Moors yet still makes me cry. Justin Sullivan, one of the most gifted yet maligned songwriters of our day. Keep speaking the truth.
I listen now, hmm, about 5 times. I cant get enough of this beautiful Song. It make remember a very good Friend, long past away......Thank you Scrapbag.....
This is amazing!

Fantastic song with a great vid!
Bravo to Scrapbag for putting this together.
Love the shot of the rearview at 4:54 when he sings
"Not for one second, did you look behind you..."
Nicely done.
