  • THIS GUY IS SO RACIOUS GOD!! he captures black PEICES AND CAPTUEES (BLACK KINGS) JUST CUZ OF THERE COLOUR AND THEN TEACHES OTHER PEOPLE HOW TO DO IT !!!!!!!

  • I have watched your videos a lot but only now I've noticed that the software adds a black square in the upper right corner when the king is checked.

  • In the lasker game the three pawns are enough to win. The bishop is technically won with the windmill but given back to the g6 double attack, HOWEVER, because Torre wins the bishop first and forces Lasker to win it back he gains the h pawn as well. the second example was nice. Another good one is Alekhine-Fletcher where Alekhine uses it to mate which is rare to use a windmill for the purposes of checkmate.

  • Wouldn't the example end in a draw? Wouldn't that be a three-fold repeation?

  • @AlbertEinsten26 But (correct me if I'm wrong I'm not 100% sure) he doesn't make the same move, he checks then takes then checks then takes etc. so they are not played one after the other.

  • Great video.

  • I was under the impression that if the same check is repeated three times it's an instant stalemate?

  • i didnt think it would work for me being that im still a rookie but it did work,i couldnt beleave it, very good vid.

  • just kinda made my first one, this needs tons of calculation for a blitz game! great video kevin, thanks tried to leave the link to the chess.com game but it wouldn't let me :/ here is the pgn, I played black, was a five minutes game 1.e4 e5 2.Nf3 Nc6 3.Bc4 Bc5 4.d3 d6 5.Ng5 Nh6 6.Qh5 O-O 7.Nxh7 Kxh7 8.g4 Bxg4 9.Qg5 Qxg5 10.Bxg5 f6 11.Bxh6 Kxh6 12.Nc3 Nd4 13.Kd2 Nf3+ 14.Kc1 Bxf2 15.h3 Be3+ 16.Kb1 Nd2+ 17.Kc1 Bf3 18.Re1 Nxc4+ 19.Kb1 Bf2 20.Rf1 Nd2+
  • great video! windmill!

  • At 3:44 the queen can just take the rook on f7. I'm not hating I'm just making a point

  • @magiccards05 no he can't he's in check from the bishop on f6

  • @magiccards05 he was in check genuis

  • @magiccards05 he was in check genius

  • HI. I love these videos. They helped my game alot. But I do have one question: What program do you use to display the chess games? I mean, what is the program called which you are using in your videos?

Well, thanks, and awesome videos :)

  • this is so cheap LOL but it looks like soo much fun to use against someone. Your opponent would be so frustrated hahaha

  • @druglover200 there is nothing cheap in chess. this is not call of duty or anything:)

  • At 5:09, what if Byrne played Bxe6; wouldn't fischer end up down a bishop or queen?

  • @teranz0 i guess Byrne was looking at now rather thatn later in the game

  • Kevin, at 0:44, would it be a draw by repetition, for example, if white played Rb7+, Ka8, Rg7+, Kb8, Rb7+, Ka8, Rg7+, Kb8, Rb7+, Ka8?

  • @MultiGumbo Yeah it would be drawn in that case, but why would white want this rook constantly going to g7 and causing a draw?

  • @DancingWasabi Thanks for your answer. I appreciate it. I just want to know something. How good of chess player would you say you are? Are you an expert? Do you play chess very often?

  • @MultiGumbo The short answer is that I'm ranked around 1500 right now

  • 0 dislikes!! nice!!

  • with the first GM example I saw 1 Qxh6 g7xh6 2 Bf6+ kh7 3 Rg7+ then the windmill is set up there. It wins a bishop and 2 pawns just like the way you showed!!!

  • I can't thank you enough for posting these videos. Before yesterday I had never even heard of these terms, you've thusly changed the way I think about chess. Already I have made great improvements in my game!

  • At 5:54, shouldn't white just move the rook in the way of the bishop and recapturing with the queen? If you think this is a bad move then it's important to note that black can force this move by windmilling the knight onto g1

  • @europeanbamf No white can't just move the rook to d3 blocking the bishop because black can just play axb6. Then the only place white's queen can move to save the rook is c3. In that case black plays Nxf3, white's queen is hit again, and white is even more screwed because black threatens mate in 1 with Re1 and the rook on d3 falls anyway without white being able to recapture.

  • the queen coulda taken the rook when u took the pawn in the second example.

  • This is..... chessgasam!!!!!!!! XD nice tactic

  • what is the name of this game? with bobby

  • what is the name of this game?

  • Love the windmill. If you manage to win a game like this you wil be on a pink cloud for the rest of the day :-)

  • This is chess at it's best.

  • thats called a windmill? lol. Kinda funny u show that coz every noob can see a 'windmill' lmao

  • 1:18, anywhere on the board except a7 and b7... should be b8

  • @MultiGumbo I have no idea why you posted 4 times, but no it is not a draw. It is not repetition based on two pieces being in the same spot, or any chess game would be drawn at the beginning of a match. Since pieces are coming off the board it is a different position all together. Only is it repetition if the board is the same and there haven't been any pawn moves.

  • Beautiful

  • Never knew this! thanks. This is like the deadliest tactic I've seen.

  • thank you !!!!

  • great vid, thanks for it

  • this guy sounds like he didn't finish highschool.

  • @chessplayer21 if you mean bobby fischer you would be right he dropped out of high school because he thought everything that wasn't chess was a waist of time. Bobby Fischer always does the strangest things! He's fun to study. you can watch a documentary on youtube too.

  • no, dumb mother fucker, i'm talking about the crack head faggot who created this video, he sucks on ass.

  • @chessplayer21 you have no evidence to support your statement that the creator of this video did, or did not finish high school.

  • i didn't make any formal argument that the faggot didn't finish high school, you pretentious fuck.

i clearly stated that he SOUNDS as if he didn't finish high school, which is little more than an opinion, based on observation, filled with sarcasm. again you have proven yourself to be a STUPID BITCH .

  • I think it is apparent that you have no idea how to carry out a reasonable conversation, goodbye and have a nice life :)

  • @lewiszim hear hear!

  • @chessplayer21 you behave like you didn't finish elementary school.

  • Wow, this windmill tactics is so awesome.

  • You would have to be in an awfully particular position to pull this off correctly.

  • well, good video but the first example with the queen"sacrifice". It's black's turn after Rxh5, can't black play Kg6 winning a piece back?

  • yeah someone else pointed this out. In the game black just resigned before he moved Kg6. Even after he took the bishop he still would have lost a good amount of material in an end game.

  • @xox0808 Well, in the actuall game, 1...Kg6 2. Rf3 Kxf6 was played, but after Rxh6+ it's an easy win.

  • ah nice thanks dear thats great stuff hehe it was a deep thought.

  • uhm if in the third fischers example what if the white just chooses to eat the bishop instead of the queen at 05:08 black cant re capture because of queen attack and white will be up a piece. please advise. thanks

  • 1saifullah

    Black would win with a smothered mate Qb5+ Kg1 Ne2+ Kf1 Ng3+ Kg1 Qf1+ Rxf1 Ne2#.

  • awesome video and great tactic....i hope i can do this on one of my friends :D

  • Great, keep the vids comin

  • This is so cool! But at the first GM example, the black king could just go to

g6 and than win the bishop back again.

  • you are definitely right. Looks like black decided that being three pawns and his king being so exposed with no center control was enough to resign. Good observation, though.

  • There is another flaw in the second GM example, the queen could also capture the night at some point, but i am not going too much into that one.

  • that would do no good, the dark square bishop,....
