  • can i use the remote from my blade scout on an mxc2?

  • i just got mine today! im lovin it

  • Learn something new everyday, that explains why my heli wobbles uncontrolable just off the ground, thanks

  • Your videos are great, they helped me a lot. I have my MCX2 trimmed pretty well, it will sit in a hover by itself without any input. But the problem that i have is if I hit the forward cyclic control the MCX2 will move forward and to the left (not straight forward). Same thing if I try to make it go straight backwards, it goes backwards and to the left. The nose and tail stay straight, but the entire copter moves to the left unless I move the stick to the right to compensate. Any idea?

  • Great video!!! Thank you

  • @rcflightschool please make an unboxing video for the blade mcpx and how it flyes. thanks for all the nice vids and rcnightmare

  • Had the MCX2 for 3 days, i let it cool down for a while between flights and the frame still warped. Turns out one of the motors is bad and overheating. Very fun but has a few flaws imo.

  • can you change the links on the swashplate to get a more responsive flight?

  • Great Video. Very staright forward and informative. Truley apreciate your advise. Just got the rc bug and bought a slash 4x4. Thanks to your reviews and totally love it.." If you wanna bash you got to have a Slash" lol. Like to do aerial photoghraphy for my rc's and love to learn to fly helis and I know got to start somewhere. Been seeing alot of quad coptors. Do you know if quad coptors use the same basic flight principels as helis. which do you think will be better for aerial cinemtography.

  • Great video! I learned more from this than I'd previously known about flight characteristics and why certain things were happening while I flew. Thanks for the help!

  • who makes the red arrows in the back ground/?

  • i love your vids, i had the mcx and was pretty good is the msr a goood step?

  • @themicromodder If you're extremely comfortable flying the mcx in Forward Flight, than the MSR will be a good step. If you think you'll be doing more outdoor flying try the 120sr. Be ready, those single rotors are quick!

  • dude ive been waiting for this kind of program on youtube.

  • OH NO!

Because of you, I ended up buying MCX2 RTF.

btw, can you maybe do a video of how to trim it? not sure if i am doing something wrong but i hardly notice anything when i click those trim buttons on radio.

  • @xxgg These coax helis are so stable that it takes a few clicks before you'll notice a change. How's she flying?

  • Respond to this video...

My first flight was... well 'first time alike experience'. Not knowing what the trim settings were... i rapidly pressed (while heli was off) to see how many levels of trim it's got. Well after that... i just could not find the setting like the out of box.

Speed at which it flies side to side isn't equal either.

Since this is beginner heli, it would be awesome if you could make a video on how to properly trim, tips and tricks for newbs.

    Thanks.

  • about how long does this heli run on 1 charge?

  • @RCcrAzY1234 it depends really, a few good minutes

  • 0:20, skip intro

  • I have the MCX2 and can fly it no problem i have a DX6i for planes and i am looking for the next step up in a BNF version. Which helicopter would be the best next step?

  • @nickvids7

I'd go for the 120sr or if you're a very fast learner and would like some aerobatics try the Blade 450!

  • @nickvids7 120sr or msr

  • I plan to purchase one of these micro total beginner heli.

My QUESTION is, older MCX vs MCX2, what are the difference? Why buy one over the other?

Also, I have a radio from Ultra Micro J-3 Cub RTF, can this same radio be used with MCX2 BNF version?

  • @xxgg MCX has a different body style without LED lights. The MXC2 has those things as well as 2 swash plate settings and slightly more power.

Yes that radio will work with most of the BNF micros the HorizonHobby sells

  • what advice do you have for landing where you want to?

  • @nerdyrcdriver practice practice practice

  • @godofcable111 exactly!

  • @nerdyrcdriver other than practice? What problems are you looking to overcome?

  • @rcflightschool I have a syma s107g (full parts support and stuff but not quite the one in this vid) It has the tail rotor in a horizontal position (dont know what type as in coaxial and stuff). It flys really well but when i go to land it seems to always go about 2 ft away from the target. But I havent been able to fly it for a couple months because I need a new tail rotor. only a $4 part but I just never got around to ordering it.

  • @nerdyrcdriver interesting, yea maybe its less predicable at lower speeds? Or remember battery position also makes a big difference.

  • @rcflightschool battery is mounted in and there is a charging port on the side. But I did open it up to cut the led wires because I dont like the multicolored led on the front. It gave me a little more power and about 1-2 min more flight time. I did move a little weight on the canopy though so that could be it.

  • @nerdyrcdriver You have to approach the landing pad from the side and "lead" the throttle into the landing. That is to say, start to cut throttle BEFORE you reach the landing point so the blades have a chance to spool down avoiding the "ground effect" that will push you right off your landing spot.

Avoid landing vertically because the "ground effect" will be much worse

  • @BSRCer I was wondering about your channel. Thanks for the help. I will try when I get it running again.

  • nice

  • @ThePimpinchris thanks much!
