  • this is amazing! i'm thinking of purchasing the LASS Lite + LASS FC bundle from AudioBro's website. it's $400 less than the full version. By reading your video description, it seems this is all i need to achieve the same amazing sound as you did here, right?

  • this is really awesome!!!!! good job man

  • Ok, you won't reveal your layering secrets... i understood :)

  • @gabrieloliveiramusic Sorry for the delay! I'm making a video right now :)

  • @szlafarski naah! hehe, sorry me for being disturbing... anxious to know your tricks, dude :)

  • how much ram are you using?

  • @Thebestgig currently running 24gb of ram on a quad core processor (lowest level available in mac pros). However when I did this video, I only had 10gb of ram and as you can see it hardly put a bump in it.

  • very nice !!

  • AWESOME MUSIC! and nice tone you get from LASS

    Some questions, plz? :D

Are you layering the FC section? Why so many tracks? On my count it should be Vi1, Vi2, viola, Celli, Bass. (i'm seeing 16 tracks for FC)

  • This soundtrack is so beautiful! And I think you just convinced me to purchase LA Scoring Strings, thank you :)

  • Very strange. For some reason I felt the Lite ensembles sounded better. So are you saying the first patches were all single sounds and the next ones were all ensembles? I'm always confused with how to layer LASS because there are too many options at times.

  • @KCJacksonMuz I think the reason the Lite ensembles sound better is that they are the full ensemble patches. There is WAY more depth. The first time through, it's just solo patches, so there are maybe 15 people playing, whereas the second time through, it's probably closer to 50 people playing. The third time through, I layered both the solo players for extra edge and pop, as well as to create some spread, overtop of the LITE/ensemble patches. Message me if you want any tips!

  • @szlafarski Awesome. Thanks for this demo, it sounded great, and thanks for the offer! I will probably take you up on it! Haha.

  • @subby33 Anytime!

  • i wish you could show us your whole compositing process from start to finish

  • @biggareid I would love to. I'm going to be doing some more in-depth productions of the music for the film I'm working on, so I'll be sure to dissect this piece (plenty of layers going on here).
