  • Thank you so much for these videos. I was JUST about to take Accutane. I already have the medicine and I could have started by now, but now I am not so ready to destroy my body over something that could be taken care of by ACTUALLY fixing the problem, and not throwing medication at it, all thanks to you and others that are posting their experience with it.

  • I took Accutane for eight months. I had severe acne. It was the worst fucking decision of my entire life, it gave me depression, anxiety, and all sorts of shit. Got rid of acne to an extent but not worth the horrendous side effect.

  • a homeopathic detox. not herbal but specifically imprinted for accutane.

  • i mean no. i mean a detox specifically imprinted for accuane.

  • hello. have you done an accutane detox?

  • @kungfoojazzy You mean just a regular detox?

  • Thank you sooo much for this video. I was supposed to start accutane a year ago but a month later when I went in to start it.. I decided I did not want to and go on a different medication... this reassures my decision.. i recently broke out and wanted to go on accutane but after watching this... im done with the desire to take this med! :D

  • Thanks for the video and raising the awareness of accutane. Ive just seen a dermatologist for a minor case of acne and wanted to clear it up, and her recommendation was...you guessed it, ACCUTANE. After researching more information about the drug I just can't take, the risk is not worth the reward.

    THANKS

Looking forward to hear about your experience with the nutritionist.

  • You have a wonderful personality. You really do. I just wanted to let you know.

    That is all.

  • @SillyMedicalProblem Thank you for this and the other comment. Regarding the 'ban' of Accutane, I think they should at least make it available to over 18s, and not hold off important information (like it was originally - and still is - used for cancer).

  • I really have to commend you on making these videos. There are far too many people out there suffering from the side effects of Accutane and having these video's uploaded to youtube is going to help so many people out there who are dealing with this in silence. So, thank-you, and please don't stop! Also, I know your side effects are embarrassing (so are mine) but you really should consider going into more detail about them....it would be so helpful for those in a similar situation. :)

  • @trav715 Cheers man :) I do go into full detail in my eBook which I just finished. It was easier to explain in writing.. There is a link to the book in my latest video. Glad you enjoy the videos. There should be a new update in this series soon.

  • Thanks for doing this! I took accutane (claravis) last year and I'm dealing with "direct effects" of it. Watching your videos make me feel less terrified.

  • Hey there, out of curiosity what dosage of accutane were you on? Also didn't you have blood tests to make sure your liver wasn't being damaged? Thanks

  • @Foljiny Hi. I don't remember to be honest. It doesn't seem to make a difference. People suffer regardless it seems. I think possible 40mg. But, it'd of been figured out by my weight. And yes, they are supposed to do liver tests through blood each month. They did one at the start, and then maybe one more, but it seems they forgot 1 per month. I did have a test after though, and it said everything was fine, except for my bilirubin levels, which were raised ... (continued)

  • @Foljiny (Continued) Apparantly that's 'nothing to worry about'... But to me, that says something. However, from drinking and feeling terribly ill subsequently, along with various symptoms of a congested liver, I can do the math myself. Perhaps I don't have liver disease, but I know my liver has suffered, as has my entire body. But no, the dose can be as low as you like, you can still suffer. I have an inkling why that might be too. But I'll save that for another time.

  • @FireYourDoctor Hey there again, why do you think the dosage of accutane doesn't matter. There have been several studies that show lower doses have few side effects and less severe side effects. just google low dose accutane and you will find lots of info
