@butterflyspirit07 alias 2 was nice but the doouble flip feature broke and when you would switch it from up and down to the messaging it would sometimes stay on the up and down....i have the env touch and i like it better

@pauladodig1982 just sign up for facebook mobile it will send you texts if someone commented on your status and it will send you your messages people send you. you can also text your status. its way easier than waiting for the internet to load up on the phone everytime you want to go on facebook

Now she is sick in the hospital for last year, and can, t even talk and verizon will not even cancel he subscription it was set up on automatic pay direct from the bank. Don’t ever set up automatic pay with Verizon for when you try to ccncel they will not let you and will keep on charging you and the only way you can stop them is to close your bank account.
The keyboard is great, but many seem to share my problem of random shutdowns, setting/data deletion and Pocket dialing. The main flaw is that the "Lock" button unlocks the phone as well, which makes the slide to unlock pointless. The are a few workarounds (thick case,inconvenient password lock, but Verizon has yet to make the simple Firmware update to fix this.
Ultimately, the touch screen is nice, but somewhat pointless, and the hardware is flawed. Get the Alias 2 or a Smart phone.

That being said, what do you mean by "locking feature"? The lock button is the main issue, as it also completely unlocks the phone allowing for pocket dialing and shut down, but is there an additional feature?

@daniellynch305 I had this phone for 2 years also with verizon before i get a droid 2.. overall I liked this phone a lot, especially the design and wish they would make an android version with this style... I don't know about the setting being reset or accidental dials but I did have a problem with it restarting automatically. I went back and replaced the phone twice for a refurbished model at verizon and they told me both times that it was a common problem with the phone.

@DamonPlz What is so bad about this phone? I am down to being between the Brigade and this. While this has the oh so cherished touch screen and a better browser, the Brigade is waterproof and rugged. Equal keyboards though.
On the Verizon site this phone ratings dropped from 5.0 to 3.5 within a short period of time. The phone is horrible and it's resetting in front of me (as I type) every 20 seconds LITERALLY! Battery life will only be good once you use it a lot but the phone is a big problem itself. This phone made me switch to AT&T.

Okay so I had this for one year,
so far, I have dropped it a million times (no cover), it's been in a puddle twice, my dog stomped all over it, and it's working perfectly fine :)
The bottom key even fell off (a friend broke it apart -_-), and it still works perfectly.
The only problem I have is battery life, and it DOES shut off on me.

three words! peace of shit! iv had this phone for almost a year an there are so many probs with it! like ill be talking on the phone an then it makes a really loud noise an shuts off! the touch screen is all messed up! it freezes all the time! oh thats not even the worst.. in order to charge my phone i have to hang it upside down on the charger just so charges.. plus it only holds a charge for hmmm... 7-8 hours! dont bye!!!!

I've had this phone like ever since it came out lol. But I'm on a 2 year plan so I have to wait til july to get a new phone :( 1 more year to go lol. It's a great phone though. I highly recommend it to people.

I liked this phone when I first got it but I treated it kind of badly so now it's a piece of shit. It restarts randomly freezes resets settings after restarting... I can give you a list it sucks. DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE. If you have trouble with dropping your phone don't buy this unless you have a sturdy case.

@MrPinoyPwnage I dont have an env touch (yet) I have an enV 2 and the rest of my family got env 3's last christmas...we all seem to have the random shut off problem occasionally with our phones...
Crossing my fingers for maybe an env touch for my october birthday :)

@MrPinoyPwnage mine does but i took it back and they had 2 update the software. my phone had the software 4 and they were up 2 software 9. so take it back lol. but my phone was past repair so they gave me a new one with the new software.

I just go this phone and is it just me, or is the vibrate on this phone not very strong? I've played with all the settings with no luck in changing it (only the touch settings can be changed it seems like). I depend a lot on vibrate and this is sort of irratating.
