Just finished Mass Effect 2 and also beat the first Mass Effect last week. Both games were epic beyond proportions. So excited for Mass Effect 3 now! Can't wait.

@StartledSloth Trust me you should play the first two and they are really cheap now so before you start I reccomend a complete playthrough of the first two just to get you into the story. It will have 5x the impact if you play them all.

@SphroSmAn In ME2 arrival DLC they were close the the batarians Alpha-Relay (edge of the galaxy). But shepard destroyed it, ME3 takes place a year later, so the reapers easily had the time to make it to the Nith Relay in the other end of the Batarian system. They used the relay to hit the Sol Relay and take out earth.
I Killed Shepard on my one save in mass effect 2 i wonder what happens when i load that save on mass effect 3? i don't believe that Joker destroys batarians and gets banned.

@SphroSmAn In ME2 arrival DLC they were close the the batarians Alpha-Relay (edge of the galaxy). But shepard destroyed it, ME3 takes place a year later, so the reapers easily had the time to make it to the Nith Relay in the other end of the Batarian system. They used the relay to hit the Sol Relay and take out earth.
