  • BAHAHAHA stevie wonder is so visualy unbearable hahaha now aitn that the truth

  • I like his music but in every interview hes a grumpy, raggy cunt

  • Junk sick

  • My god. The end is priceless. Who'd a thought after all that morose seriousness he'd make us laugh?

  • Oh this is gold, thinks at 28 he's already too old to still be making music. He's 54 now and still rocking his arse off.

  • hahahahaha

  • toolbag

  • ahahaha i love this. he seems a bit intimidating, the interviewer seems a bit unsure about him haha

  • This actually appears to be one of the rare times that Nick feels compelled to make someone interviewing him feel more comfortable. Imagine having to stare at NC and pretend to be nodding, with him staring back at you like you're an absolute tool. I think he thought that it was uncomfortable for all concerned so decided to lighten the mood...in the only way that Nick can..by making it more uncomfortable...Ten points for effort though!

  • I can't hear what he says! Please can someone write it down?

  • um... umm... pinned um.. yeah, I think um... that um.. is the um... way I um would um... describe... um his um way of um... being. Freshly tasted um out the um back..... um...

  • best part begins at 6:35

  • Would guess the Stevie visual comment is Nick just fucking with the interviewer or the vodka in his hand is blurring his judgement on how that comment could be taken the wrong way, after all Barry Adamson was in his band for many years.

  • @oldTOtaper agreed, and heroin makes people kind of shitty as well. there's a dichotomy between the early caveman interviews when he's fucked up on whatever in his 20s and he's got the rockstar belligerence or the more recent interview stuff that has a remarkable sense of self-clarity, But yeah, Barry Adamson was there writing these songs as well. Not much cred thrown his way, though he's made a handful of great records, he's never seen the same success as Cave, and deserves the same attention

  • I suspect that now in his more sober and clean days he would regret how that came across. His early solo stuff is clearly in debt to Black music (what popular music isn't).

  • calling stevie wonder unsightly is pretty funny

  • NICK CAVE HATES NIGGAS

  • @bigfatchodez HuH? One of his idols is John Lee Hooker...

  • so stoned, so drunk

  • hating on one of the masters of soul. Surprised and shocked

  • @emile235 I agree with Nick. I always hated Stevie as well. Everybody is always like .."WHY?!?!?!" I don't see whats so special. But to each is own :).

  • @jesuscat29 I am surprised because Nick himself can be a soulful singer

  • @jesuscat29 But you like Radiohead ?

  • @sclapione Yep :) because I can.

  • @jesuscat29 because Nick tries to sing soulfully and imo succeeds yet Stevie was one of the pioneers of soul before Nick was even born, Not only that Stevie went on to co create funk and his musicianship is light years ahead of anyone who was ever in the Bad Seeds. Nick is great in hsi own unique but he can be a narrow minded prick also

  • @emile235 its not that hes narrow minded, its that he just don't care for Stevie Wonder... Big deal. is there a rule that you are supposed to like Stevie Wonder?

  • @jesuscat29 well yes if you are setting yourself up as a serious artist who dares to claim to continue the blues traditions

  • @jesuscat29 Visualy unbearable hahahaha
