We were thinking of getting a conure..but we wanted to use the big bird cage we already have that we kept our parrotlet in...unfortunately, we lost him due to an unknown illness :'(
Our cage is about 2 and a half feet by 3 and half feet..but the bars are small like a budgie cage..and we were wondering if there is a conure which, at full size, could happily live in that when not out playing hehe :)
Fantastic... aren't they the cutest most perfect little things in the world, than k you for your comment on Luigi, I love training him, he learns things in minutes, it scares me how intellegent they are sometimes. good job
I agree =) They are indeed highly intelligent, amazing little animals. That's why we no longer can use the term "bird brain" to labeled someone stupid ;P
Yup! That's right. so i can customize the right size for Kacy =) All materials were gotten from local hardware store and supermart. Like the Basketball Stand is actually made out of, a ceramic tile as the base, a shower curtain ring hook as the hoop, and the stem is actually PVC. Cheap and easily available!
@proviewsg How did you put it the hoop altogether?? Like what glue and stuff like that?? Thanks, I really will appreciate it if you respond!!! Thanks btw I love your birdies and videos!! :)
Your parrots are learning lots of fun tricks too !
Boris now has a little girlfriend, she is only 6 months old but has already learned to say hi with her foot and to turn around. These little monsters are so clever !
Thanks Marie. Glad to hear that Boris found himself a girlfriend. *Giggle* Senegal Parrots are really pretty and affectionate. I once had a Senegal Parrot named Kermit, unfortunately he passed away 5 months ago. Seriously I missed him alot =)
How old is your conure? Is it full size here? :)
