What? WHAT!? I CAN"T HEAR YOU! WAIT TILL THIS PLANE GOES BY! Ok, what were you saying?... OH WAIT! HERE COMES ANOTHER ONE! HOLD ON! Whew. Ok what was that aga....... OH WOW! HERE"S ANOTHER ONE! WAIT A SEC!
The Boeing 707. , WUAAAAAAAAAAAAh, where the largest..WIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII,WUAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH, Developed by Boeing in the mid..BRRRRRRRRWUUUUUAAAAAAAHHHWIIIIIIIIII., yeah Awesome narration!!!
Fantastic!!!!! I miss the LOUD jets. Takes me back to early days when Hobby was Houston's only airport and we lived on a "run path"...one after the other all day!!!!!! Sit in a tree and watch'em! Oh and that dude talking? WTF? SHUT UP!
man I don't know what that dude synthuser below me is talking about, sound being way too high. Screw that. I myself would have preferred that the narrator shut the hell up so I can hear those lovely early Pratt's scream in all their glory. Take the narrator's voice out of this!!
I know that people living around airports are much happier with today's jet airliners that are quieter. Still I love the roar and whine of those classic first generation turbojet aircraft. Great sound in this video. Thanks for posting.
That one is the Sabena 707. Sabena used to be the state owned Belgian airline company, but it went bankrupt due to Swissair. Sabena and Swissair used to work together, but Swissair managed to squeeze Sabena empty, shortly before going bankrupt themselves. Sabena has resurected, and is now Brussels Airlines, still a small but yet a quickly growing private owned company with good connections and immaculate service on board.
is it wierd that i have an obsession with comercial jet airliners? God, what i would give to be able to become a commercial airline pilot. But there are no jobs in that market. :( .
Yes its truley beautiful but now the reason we have new planes is because new controls , Seats , And the cabin. Also in "United States Air Force One" They have newer techs
The 707 and 737 are not realy the same fuseloge. Do not get me wrong the 737 fuseloge is base on the 707 same as the 727, but the 707 had a deeper and taller fuseloge. The 737 and 727 has the same section 41 tough.
My father flew on some 707 in the 60s and he told me a 707 had a more solid ride than a 747. He also told he do not think a 737 has a solid ride.
If you have never been in a 707, just hop on board a 737, it's the same exact fuselage, minus of course, the wing, power plants and a few other details. My dad was a captain for PanAm for 30 years, most of those 30 years were spent piloting the 707, she's a legend.
"If you have never been in a 707, just hop on board a 737, it's the same exact fuselage"
Not really. They are _almost_ the same. The "double bubble" cross-section design is different, the lower lobe being substantially smaller diameter on the 737, so there is virtually no crease line at the 737's floor level.
Hi Ric, Are you current on type (707) with USAF/ANG or civil operator? I produce 707 DVDs and spent a week with Honeywell filming their 720 operation for an upcoming DVD documentary. Some of those clips have been uploaded to youtube.. FYI.

I do love loud jets. The old "water wagon" turbojet 707's were some of the loudest. Music to my ears.

SAHA Air (from Iran) is the only passenger airline that still operates the Boeing 707 on civilian flights.
