I know you all say that Dragon Age 2 sucks, but I found it superior in it's own way to Dragon Age Origins. Sure there were a lot of things I missed from DA:O like the customization and the dog (I couldn't get the DLC for DA2) but overall I found it better. Action was fast paced, story was good, voice acting was a tone lot better and I liked how it had mass effect elements to it like a fully voiced character.

i chose the "Ultimate Sacrifice" in Origins so I actually don't want DA3 to be a continuation of the Hero of Ferelden's story. Finished it Like A Boss.

@FiskapaTV Definatly get Origins Ultimate edition. Its a steal for 30$. Skyrim, it looks great but you never know. Did you play Oblivion? I played Oblivion but hated it so I am on the fence about Skyrim. Dragon Age 2 is good, dont listen to the haters. Its different from Origins and many fans don't like change. It is still a solid rpg worth playing. I can't say enough that Origins is amazing.

DA:O is a great game and has one of the best OST I have ever listened to (Inon Zur compositions with Aubrey Ashburn voice).... you will be an ignorant until you buy this unbeatable game. Search for "Leliana song" or Love Song for Dragon Age: Origins, and you will understand that you don't know what you are talking about.

The music is there to counterpoint the visuals and get to the depth of the conflicting emotions of epic adventure and personal story, tragedy and marching on despite it all. It's supposed to be making a statement, this game is different and deeper than the usual balls-to-the-walls trailers. It has triumph, tragedy, epic deeds and deep characters. It's a wonderful game.
@TheMartini1234 If you like these kind of games it's among the best. Just remember, it's a window into the world of high fantasy, treated realistically with a few new twists. It's not trying to reimagine the genre the way Mass Effect did for Sci-Fi. It's a gateway into a classic genre, treating it realistically, and for that it has few if any equals.
I'm having an issue with this game. I bought it off gamestop, and it connected my gamestop account to my bioware social account. However, I am not getting the seven dlc packs included. I've logged back into my bioware account while playing the game, but the packs are still unauthorized. Can anyone help?
@Supergodzilla118 I bought it digitally off of gamestop and had to wait eight hours for a 13.4 GB download. I've checked my memory and I have enough space. I have downloaded the packs, but they are unauthorized even while on my Bioware account.
@ultimatekotorfan Try going to bioware's customer service - send them an online question. They're really good at responding, they even helped me with Knights of the Old Republic - a much older game.

@moocher2121 u have to install it, and just so u know theres a bug for pc where it isnt authorized, so u have to go into the file pof the ghame and make a manual change, just google it, bioware has a FAQ answering it

@HeretixAevum Actually, I think the reason that they chose it was because 1. Some of 30STM's songs do have a bit of a fantasy feel to them 2. The part where Morrigan turns around with a look of sadness to the line "one day, maybe we'll meet again" fits pretty well together, (IMO) and of course 3. It fits alot better than Marylin Manson. That trailer alone almost made me disregard the game altogether.

What you cannot find in DA:O is true liberty like you have in some rpgs like Fallouts, Arcanum, Elder Scroll.
Interaction between communities/socities.
Social action (trade perks, real stealing).
So... its not really what we have waited for 25 years, but still, and again its a good game.
Way, way better than Dragon Age 2.

nice timing....seriously though i really liked the sequel,and i played the first one and found it actually better,so i will buy origins(if u didn't like the second one,i don't blame you for it, its actually a matter of opinion, so some people will like it and some won't, but i will not deny that the origins was the best)

@HeretixAevum Actually, I think the reason that they chose it was because 1. Some of 30STM's songs do have a bit of a fantasy feel to them 2. The part where Morrigan turns around with a look of sadness to the line "one day, maybe we'll meet again" fits pretty well together, (IMO) and of course 3. It fits alot better than Marylin Manson. That trailer alone almost made me disregard the game altogether.

@HeretixAevum Many disagree, including me. Believe me, you would never catch me choosing to listen to emo as long as a live, but the sound of this band totally suits Dragon Age, like.. unbelievably.
