What a great tutorial! Just everything is in this! Layer mask, adjustment layer, gradient tool; as a rank beginner I can say the instructions here are complete, comprehensible, yet not a wasted word. The best by far of all I've watched.
This is by far, the best explanation I have seen of techniques to enhance an image by changing the sky. I have watched the video several times and I'm far from being able to internalize all that is there. At the same time, I have been able to make some very nice composites as I continue to learn. Thank you very much Mr. Galer! I will view this video again and again and continue to learn from you!
This video is very helpful and useful for future projects. Thanks for sharing!
If I may make a suggestion, can you lower the volume in your intro video? The music is alarmingly loud, forcing me to lower my speaker and then upping it up to hear your voice.
It would be great to live in Venice, Italy. So many boats and water ways and it's just beautiful, I always wanted to know if there was a city with boat ways instead of the streets and there is.
Thank you so much for the tutorial! but, I have found a quicker and easier way to do this, just use the background eraser tool, import the picture to the file which you want to change the sky on, click on the move tool, right-click on the sky, then click "Send to back" then just brighten the sky :)
@onlyiftheworldwould I think you have to render the creation into a photo file, then right click the image, then click "use a background or screensaver". Not sure though, havent used this software.
Wow! I'm still a beginner in Photoshop, so this seems way out of my reach at this time. But I'm excited to continue learning! Thanks for the tutorial.
