@bobdolesux321 Sorry, but he can't win, well, I say that but I suppose if you throw bombs at yourself it might work, but Sephiroth himself is incapable of killing you, while he can attack Cloud, his attack will only ever do (sorry, three key is bust so i'll have to write like this) Thirty One/Thirty Two damage to Cloud's health rounded down, if Cloud is at Thirty One or less hp, he will only ever do 0 damage.

I really do think that the only reason they even made this part was so you could see Cloud slice the shit out of Sephiroth and after everything Cloud has been through with Sephiroth, it makes this part even better!

They made a detailed model 'Of Cloud' and not the other characters and used a more toned down model to keep in sync with the other characters and the style of the game. Intreguing.

@MrWanagethigh To be honest Id hate to see a remake of any FF. Its best to see fresh material. Seeing where RPGs are going now with games like Mass Effect and Dragon Age, Jrpgs are going a bit stale in terms of mechanics, it would be popularity alone that would make it succesful. It may sound a bit harsh but its true. If anything I would want to see new mechanics added if anything.

**SPOILERS** How can Sephiroth be alive?!?!?!?!?! In Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Zack kills Sephiroth in the mako reactor but in this game Sephiroth is alive. Since Crisis Core happened 2 years ( i think) before this ff7 game, doesnt make sense at all.What happened did Sephiroth somehow get reborn or what? Never did understand their logic in that department.

@777busterblade Cloud was the one who got the sneak attack on Sephiroth's from behind with a stab and killed him in crisis core by throwing him off the platform. I believe the way he comes back is the Jenova Cells in those Black Coated clones. They change into him when he takes them over like that white haired guy in Advent Children. Thats how he pops up here and there until his real self is given the Black Materia. This battle was also Sephiroth trying to take over cloud like those coated cloud

Its just a different story then...

I mean its like this..

Crisis core / FF 7 = Advent children...

If you play crisis core then its just goes along to the advent children..

if you play ff 7 too then its just goes along to the advent children then..

its not congruent to the story..

they just make crisis core to make a more BANG so that you can understand more if you watch advent children.

I would say that the most intense scene is when Aerith is killed by Sephiroth. It was so unexpected in the first playthrough. I was so angry as well because I had decided to have Aerith as one of my main party members. DAMN YOU SEPHIROTH!

Cloud will instantly gain the limit break omnislash even if you dnt have the skill obtained and even if u dnt use omnislash sephiroth will attack nd do little damage and then cloud will just counter using omnislash thus winning the battle.

In other words no stress when gettn to this point

But the music and atmosphere of this boss is epic and just amazing i loved this scene when i first played it, brings back memories

The easiest one is Gogo in FF5, since you don't even have to do anything against him, but this one is a close second.

i would say this is the easiest boss fight ever cos it's impossible to lose (without hacking) sephiroths attack does about 31/32 of your max HP and you always counter no matter what + sephiroth only has 1HP

Just FYI, it's a scripted sequence. It's impossible for you to lose - Sephiroth only takes 1/6 of Cloud's HP. Cloud dodges or blocks the rest, and has access to Omnislash each turn whether you earned it in the game or not.

It represents the final battle of wills between the two in the lifestream itself. Just goes to show. Sephiroth is awesome, but Cloud would make one hell of a good monk.

I used dazers on Ruby. It stops him in his tracks. Ruby Weapon actually went down easier for me then emerald did

well i beat ruby using ktr 6 times in a row and i used final attack+phoenizx evritime he killed me so it was kinda easy and well with emerald all i done was omnislah red's and vincents over drives but i used red most for ealing cloud and his omnislash and vincents last overdrive were how i attacked

Well after being weakened yes he is. But cloud is like 20 times weaker. Only because of sephiroth's arrgance, Drainage of energy from holding back holy and having that shield on for awhile AND being through those previous battles with the party yeah. He would be weak. Plus, This last battle is for stroy purposes and advent children is not cannon.

and as for ruby, you have to be well trained to lay this one down. have mime on everyone in your party. knock out 2 people then enter the battle. he will immediatly dig his claws in the sand. then revive the peeps, cast KOTR + W Summon, then mime like theres no tomorrow. he will rarely get shots off.

for emerald, he has an attack that hurts you for 1111 X number of materia you have equipted. well without realizing it, yuffie had 9999 hp and 2 materia. right when that happened, i was like oh snap. i literally took no damage.

that couldntve been the whole battle. i played that game for like two years as a kid and i could never get my chocobo to mate right so that i finally got that chocobo you can go anywhere on the map with and then get the final materia or whatever it was. man i can die in peace if someone lets me know how to beat sephiroth. i dont even play the game anymore. but if anyone would let me know what i couldve done to save my wasted youth on this DAMN game.
