  • frank, you cant handle the truth. YES I CAN Chief. well Frank, you're a fuckin' douche

  • We ate 3 to 4 time a day and had access to fresh vegies, fruits, milk ... can't do that in the Army.

  • Never had Navy chow. AF chow was actually pretty good. My son joined the Navy and gained weight while at boot.

  • out of all the military branches army, marines, airforce navy makes the best food

  • @evoldevildogs coast guard makes the best food all the food is fresh on the patrol boats.

  • watch this asshole salute.

  • You can get as much as you want!!! FUCK YOU NAVY Marines its just one scoop and go!

  • @2:04, did she say what she missed the most in a home cooked meal is the grease? I wouldn't miss it a bit.

  • Whats a better job in the navy boatswainemate or culinary speacialist?

    and why?

  • @roger128917 It depends on what interests you more.. but you're comparing apples to oranges as they are two very different jobs.

  • @Joshcomicguy true true, buti went in as a Equipment Operator in the reserves after all

  • @roger128917 congrats man :)

  • @Joshcomicguy thanks =D

  • ill be eating all that in 16 days! Im so exited for basic! GO NAVY!!!

  • @masterevilalex01

    exited for basic

    exited for

    exited

yes, and they will say your exited basic training fairly quickly.

  • 5:01 HEIL HITLAH!

Ow and btw, that kitchen seems so bland :( I don't feel like that is really cooking :(

I find cooking to be an art:( not something to trow around in miss conception like that was..

Throw in couple of hundred steaks in automatic frier and that's called cooking? meh:(

  • @1337NoFear1337 agreed.

  • @1337NoFear1337 you're missing the point. it wasn't to give gourmet meals to posh classy businessmen. it was to make sure combat troops had their bellies filled to keep them going in the cheapest quickest method with food that will be able to keep for long periods of time.

  • PRE-MADE FOOD VS. COOKED & BAKED FROM SCRATCH??

    1. Whose food taste the best, Army, Air Force, Navy, or Coast Guard??

    2. I've noticed from watching these vids, alot of the food is pre-made. Which of the branches does N-O-T make pre-made food, but cooks & bakes from scratch??

    3. Do all of the branches teach u how to BAKE from scratch??

  • it all feels so empty and sad

  • lotsa junk food ha ha

  • Whoever directs these does a great job. Good comedy. It looks like it's produced by Brave World?

  • look at al the nubs

  • 1:12 worth of intro in a 5:18 min video? You gotta be kiddin' me ...

  • Wow, the more things change, the more they stay the same! (I went to boot camp in 02/03.)

  • I recently went through boot camp just last summer, wow it has changed alot. Now recruits get those creepy goodwill civilian workers.

  • As a professional chef who got his start as a USN Mess Management Specialist, I look at this vid with a bit o' nostalgia.

Sure, they weren't cooking Le Cordon Bleu style,...but I've never heard of a guy starving to death whilst in the service.

Anchors Aweigh! And Bravo Zulu to S-2 for feeding these recruits.

  • hey im about to join the navy for cooking do u have any pointers?

  • @captnkurt83 if you're going in to be a cook, enlisted mess would be a waste of time. pray that you get sent to either the ward rooms, chiefs mess, or if you're really really lucky, the captain's galley

  • Bon Appetite! are you kidding me?

  • WE just made 100 galllons of potatoes!

  • haha, yeah but they gotta eat!! haha that was funny...

  • Who is that guy? Sling'in-

  • The truth Frank you can't handle the truth...hahaha great video
