At least they could try to solve the problem the way it is SUPPOSE to be solved instead of trying iterative ideas like morons...2 equations, 2 uknowns...oh it's unsolvable
FAIL!!! You can't Have A Solution For this because If u use for the perimeter 5+5+2+2=14 and 5 x 2 DOESNT = 48 So there is no solution! Come on people this stuff is easy!
A rectangle with a perimeter of 14 and an area of 48 is not possible, even using non-integer numbers. If they knew high-school level algebra they could have figured that out within a minute. Props to whoever called this question in trying to confuse them, because it worked. :D
I've been studying the problem intently for the past week and i believe I've come to the solution: The root of the problem is drawing a square when you say "rectangle" . I seem to be the only one interested in this. This is one of the greatest problems facing America in these troubled times.
